AWESOME trip. We saw so much in one day. A good mix of free time and guided time. We had just enough time to even do a river cruise, which was spectacular. Our guide was fantastic. Felt like we got to see all of the city in the short time we had. Excited to return to Budapest, fell in love with its beauty and charm.

Budapest is a BEAUTIFUL city! This tour is highly recommended! Plan an extra day in Vienna to get to Budapest. Definitely worth it!
It was indeed a very nice tour. The local tour was fantastic, she provided a lot of information about Austria and Hungary. The local tours in Budapest were very knowledgeable, they provided a very good explanation about the history and sites od Budapest, lunch not included was really good in a beautiful restaurant. This is the ideal tour if you have only one day to go to Budapest, however, Budapest is a magical and wonderful city which deserves more time to be visited in just 5 hours, plus the 7 hours it takes to go and come back to Vienna. Still the tour is worth if you have no chance to stay in Budapest.

We were picked up at our hotel and taken to our bus at the Opera. The trip was around three hours. Budapest is beautiful-you can't beat the view of the Danube with the city on both sides. Our guide on the bus was Judy, and she was great with her explanation of the overview of the day's activities. Our local guide was Doris, and she was interesting and helpful. We had a great lunch and were able to order from the menu. After the main walking tour, we had time to explore on our own, and we chose to do the interior of St. Stephen's Cathedral. One word of warning: If you do either this tour or Prague, their countries do not use the Euro. It is difficult to find places that will accept the Euro AND give change in euros, especially restaurants.
This trip is a long day but it is worth the effort. The tour guide was tops. She looked after us well and was very informative with her comments. Budapest is a beautiful city. Highly recommend this trip
We enjoyed this tour very much and wished we stayed another day to explore more. We were given enough time for ourselves to go around.
very good trip, good tour round city and communication with guides, good time to ourselves and parking of bus to shopping area,Good lunch paid by ourselves but arranged by guides,
This quick trip to Budapest is an excellent way to taste a small flavor of this magnificent city. We will definitely try to come back and spend much more time. The bus trip was smooth and uneventful. The guide was informative and attentive to our needs. We were able to visit and see both Buda and Pest and still have time for some amazing shopping. The content and explanations give by our host was excellent. We had a delightful tour and would highly recommend.
Even though it rained - this was a really great tour. The lunch stop had great Hungarian food and the tour guide and local guide were very knowledgeable . Glad we took it and recommend it for others.
Tour guide was excellent and provide a great deal of information the whole day. The local guide we excellent too.
The guide on the bus was hilarious and he sa g for us. The guide for the walking tour was also good.
The trip is worth it and I enjoyed every moment.
Excellent trip, all was very well planned. The Guide was knowledgeable as well as funny. The group was diverse but good. The set Lunch at the riverside restaurant was delicious especially the Goulash.Strongly recommended.
enjoyed the trip well worth going to visit budapest lovely old buildings
This was a fantastic tour, with both a Viator guide on the bus as well as a local guide for the walking tour. After an orientation of the city by bus, we had a walking tour of the Buda hill with a lovely local guide who was very informative and personable. After the tours, we had a couple hours to explore on our own - not enough to see everything that Budapest offers, you need way more than a day for that, but time enough to see a few of your most pressing sites. A great introduction to a must-see city!

The Budapest day trip was fantastic! The tour guides were friendly and told us interesting facts and history on the way to Budapest and whilst there. There was an accident on the road that day which delayed us by an hour which in the end didn't effect the trip. We still had personal time to explore the place before going back to Vienna. The tour guide also took us to a nice restaurant where the food was delicious and you can either pay in euros or forints but be aware if you pay in euros you will get change in forints. Overall, it was a great day, I learnt a lot and already want to go back to spend more time in that beautiful city.
