The entire experience was tremendous. From the leisurely and enjoyable river cruise to the spectacular dinner and marvelous concert, this package combo for exceeded any expectations we had. We would do this again in a heartbeat!!! It was magnificent.
The day be cruise was fine but not exceptional the one hour cruise woud have been enough. dinner very good . Service excellent and restaurant well appointed. The concert was exceptional, not just the orchestra but also the 2 opera singers and dancers. Standing ovation.
We would highly recommend the Vienna Combo. The cruise was well organised, the dinner superb and the Palace concert excellent. It was very good value for money.
This was amazing. I truly enjoyed the cruise, dinner and the concert. Truly a must to book.
Brilliant tour. The river cruise was lovely, dinner was lovely and the concert was really good. The location of the dinner and concert was just lovely, what a beautiful place.
We were a group of four. Great river cruise up the Danube from Schwedenplatz, sunny and nice weather. Good idea to start early, as we did. We were at Schoenbrunn early too, to have time to see the castle's interior plus the magnificent garden outside. Dinner at 6:30 pm was ok, and the concert later in the evening was great. With loads of Mozart and Strauss. All put together: Good value for money and a well composed day program.
boat trip relaxing and enjoyable meal very tasty concert front row in centre champane in interval and music excellent
A wonderful experience that culminated in a splendid Concert at the Schonbrunn Palace.
Well organised, well planned. Helpful and polite staff. A great experience.
This tour was extremely well done and informative. Our guide, Jonny, did an excellent job in spite of the serious subject matter.
Highly recommended. Dinner was superb. Cruise was very refreshing, though the weather at that time was not so good. I recommend you take the cruise on a sunny day. The concert was the best!
Dinner and Concert superb , the boat we went on had limited space and ditfficult to move around
It is a pity they cannot post tickets out or accept the voucher for the cruise as our hotel was very close to where the cruise started but we had to go by train to the Palace to collect our tickets and then go back again. We were aiming for the 10.30 cruise but as there were no outside seats when we got back from picking up our tickets, we waited for the 11.30. A glass of champagne was included in our category A tickets but at 5 euros for half a small glass it is very poor value and my son and daughter in law were charged 3 euros each for a glass of water. I would definitely recommend taking a bottle of water with you. Having said all of this the Schonbrunn Palace is stunning, the dinner and concert were excellent and it was a very special way for me to spend my 70th Birthday.
The Danube cruise was disappointing. I was visualizing countryside along the Danube, but it was very urban. The boat was marginal. I would not recommend this. However the dinner and concert at Schonbrunn were fabulous. Especially the concert. Very entertaining and you felt the culture and history of Vienna.
Enjoyed meal and concert nutrient cruise slightly disappointing.
It was well organised and on time.....I'd have like more information along the trip with clarity and good sound....
for the rest, people in the boat were friendly and polite, interesting scenery on the return of the trip......
The cruise on the Danube was interesting and quite beautiful but the highlight was the dinner and concert. A wonderful day and great memories.
The Danube Canal part of thus tour was just a bit long but the concert at Schonbrun was a real trat!
The dinner is better than average for a group seating and close to the Orangerie where the concert is an absolute delight. The hall is where the only proximate performances of Mozart and nemesis Sallieri (Sp?) were recorded in history. The surprise was the operatic performance with the concert. This is not just a totally light concert for tourists! The only thing keeping this experience from 5 stars is the canal cruise. You are on a canal ferry with little to do with the Danube. Better to take a genuine Danube cruise to Melk or Durnstein as a half day activity and really enjoy the Danube.
We enjoyed the Danube Cruise, the dinner and the exceptional Palace Concert. The only complaint would be the arrangements for collection of tickets. As the Schonbrunn Palace was quite a way from our hotel, we wasted a good part of our morning collecting them prior to the cruise. Having tickets forwarded to our hotel would have been more convenient.
The cruise was nice yet rather long especially since there was no proper commentary or explanations in clear English along the way. The dinner was also no more than nice. We enjoyed the concert very much! The music and the hall were really lovely.
