Pick up was easy and the bus was very comfortable, with an excellent driver and tour guide. The monestary was beautiful, with great architecture and history. The Seagrotto is really cool and well worth seeing. Thanks for a great trip.
Fascinating travel through the Austrian countryside via weaving roads through deep forests and open country. Guided tour of the Abbey was both very informative and remarkable, the visit to the royal's hunting lodge made you think of the dramas of the past are no different from today's, and capping the tour with the Seegrotte's subterranean boat ride was both intriguing and exciting. Very happy to have taken this tour!!!!
This was a lovely trip and the guide was excellent . Well worth doing and lots of interesting sights to see .
Even though this was a 4 hour tour, we had 3 stops and they were all quite good. The subterranean boat ride in particular was very enjoyable and the guide we had for this stop was quite humorous. Our own tour guide was very good and everything was on time.
Fabulous tour guide who explained with great detail, sites were quite lovely and at no time did we feel rushed.
We enjoyed our trip to the Vienna Woods and Mayerling very much. The ride in the double decker bus allowed for absolutely beautiful views along the way. Our trip to the chapel very interesting story and the monastery were quite enjoyable and beautiful also. I do regret not getting a picture from above the monastery though. The underground lake was awesome, our first glimpse was so picturesque that we thought that it wasn't real. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. It was nice having an English only tour, rather than having to listen to multiple languages.
Well planned tour - we saw a lot in 4 hours and it was well explained by a tri-lingual guide. There was information suitable for those with some prior knowledge of the locations.

Beautiful experience. Thomas the tour guide was excelente.
This tour was short but very well organised. No waste of time.First we visited an Abbey. It is a beautiful abbey. All information given by our guide was interesting. After that we went to a hunting lodge.A small museum worth a visit so don't miss. And the third place- underground lake is such a wonderful attraction. This tour is a nice way to spend first half of the day.
Really excellent trip. Great to have hotel pick-up and not too early. Unfortunately Mayerling was closed so disappointing but somewhat compensated by free apple strudel and drink. Otherwise trip was as advertised and well worth doing. Lovely to see outside the city.
Excellent tour, couldn't have been happier. Can't say which part was my favorite as the entire trip was a great little half day getaway.
Great tour, good information, beautiful scenery. Nice to see suburbgs of vienna and learn about families history there, also see the monks in the monasteries, very nice, highly recommended.
This tour was excellent as it got us out of the city of Vienna for a new experience. Our guide was outstanding in his knowledge of the tour information. The only thing that could have made it better would have been the guide having whispers when we were walking with him and touring. We would have then heard ALL that was said instead of parts.
A really good Tour, guide was fantastic especially as he was doing the commentary in Two Languages
Mayerling is known as the Austrian Romeo and Juliet. The Heiligenkreuz church is so beautiful that the pope visited it himself. The Seegrotte is a great underground boat ride and its significance to WWII was very interesting. The stop there for lunch included lots of varied foods and was a great change of pace from crowded streets and restaurants in Vienna.
