What You Can Expect

Capitol Hill and DC Monuments Tour by Electric Cart

Electric Cart Tour

There are walking tours and there are bus tours, but this unique eCruiser tour of the Capitol provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Washington, DC and its many famous landmark locations.

Meet the guide and the rest of the small-group at L’Enfant Metro Stop, located at the corner of 7th and C Street. Then climb aboard a nifty eCruiser vehicle — an open-air, eco-friendly electric cart that offers as much in style as it does with substance.

The tour begins at one end of the famed Smithsonian Institution, the world's largest museum and research complex. Travel along through the historic monument areas, taking in the famous Jefferson, Lincoln and Washington Monuments, each a classic Washington DC icon in its own right. Then see the World War I, World War II, Korean War Veterans and the Vietnam Veterans memorial sites.

Next, see the most famous DC landmark of all, the White House, followed by Capitol Hill. Along the way, hear the historic stories and facts that make the city of Washington, DC one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States.

This was a great way to start our week in DC. Mike our tour guide and driver was exceptional. He knew the history, sights and inside stories about not only the historical sites around the National Mall but also the buildings and culture of the city. He made us feel right at home. Two thumbs up for Mike. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Mike. Thanks again.

Sophia was an amazing tour guide. Being brought up in the DC area she had lots of insider historical information. It was like a private tour as there were only 4 of us. We were able to get up close to many of the sites for pictures. With the Electric Cart you can see things you wouldn't on a tour bus. We had time to walk down the Vietnam wall and also climb up in the Lincoln Memorial. A very enjoyable 2 hours.

Great way to see the a number of sights in a short period of time. It feels more like a walking tour since you are not enclosed in a bus. Our tour guide, Stephen, was great and had immense knowledge of the popular sights in Washington, D.C. He mixed interesting facts with funny anecdotes and provided his own local recollections.

This is definitely the way to start your DC trip. Our driver/guide, Chris, was excellent! He knows everything there is to know about the monuments/museums and was spot on with his must see advice and tips on seeing them. He also gave us a great list of area restaurants that covered every cuisine you might be interested in! Highly recommend this tour, and if your lucky enough to get Chris, all the better!

The only way to travel around a very expansive area. Our tour guide was very informative and funny. Every part of the tour was rewarding to my wife and me. I had a tough time walking the Vietnam Memorial Wall. But with my wife at my side i got through it. Thanks again to Viator Tours and the people who run the Tour for them. Harlen and Cheryl
