Why Travelers Choose This Tour

The best part about the electric cart is that it's open-air, so you'll get great photos without the window glare. Plus, the tour ends at the Smithsonian complex around noon, so you can get some lunch and then fully explore all the Smithsonian exhibits at your own pace.
There are walking tours and there are bus tours, but this unique eCruiser tour of the Capitol provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Washington, DC and its many famous landmark locations.

Meet the guide and the rest of the small-group at L’Enfant Metro Stop, located at the corner of 7th and C Street. Then climb aboard a nifty eCruiser vehicle — an open-air, eco-friendly electric cart that offers as much in style as it does with substance.

The tour begins at one end of the famed Smithsonian Institution, the world's largest museum and research complex. Travel along through the historic monument areas, taking in the famous Jefferson, Lincoln and Washington Monuments, each a classic Washington DC icon in its own right. Then see the World War I, World War II, Korean War Veterans and the Vietnam Veterans memorial sites.

Next, see the most famous DC landmark of all, the White House, followed by Capitol Hill. Along the way, hear the historic stories and facts that make the city of Washington, DC one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States.

What a great experience. We had the pleasure of having Chris Franklin as our tour guide. We are Canadians so much of what Chris told us was important to know. He was great and we ended the tour much more informed than we had expected. Great sense of humor as well. And the cart was perfect for a little unpleasant weather.

Our tour guide, Monty, gave us a wonderful and highly entertaining tour of the monuments. He was very knowledgeable about all things DC and shared many stories, insight, and happily answered any questions we had. This tour was one of the first things we did we got to DC and we’re glad it was. It gave us a good sense of how best to spend our time based on Monty’s advice and recommendations. If you’re looking for a fun, educational, and entertaining tour, this is it!

Enjoyable trip, highly knowledgeable guide outlining the area we travelled round. Excellent introduction to the area for first-time visitors will help you orient yourself in the large monuments/ capitol/ DC area. If you've already been you may prefer one of the more in-depth focussed tours.

Excellent experience!! Our guide Sasha was very knowledgeable, well spoken and kind. She took extra effort to explain all the museums and their history, besides being able to knowledge share on other famous places. Because she was a student of history, it was even special for us to listen the DC history from her. A time very well spend! My entire family loved it. This a more than a worth trying. I am very picky about these kind of guided tours, but I would highly recommend this one to all.

Guergana was an excellent guide, who was very knowledgable and made the tour fun for our family, including 3 grandchildren visiting from the West Coast. Loved that there were 7 of us, and we had the cart to ourselves. Also, liked the ability to stop and take photos. Enjoyed completely the privacy and yet ability to see all the major monuments. Would recommend highly to anyone visiting DC who wants an overview and has 2 hours to take this tour. One can exit on the Mall at one of the Smithsonian exhibits, to keep exploring as you desire.
