Darnell was our guide on our trip to Mount Vernon and did a wonderful job of telling us all about the sights on our way to Mount Vernon including our van tour of Alexandria and a lot of history along the way. Very impressed with this tour.

The bus driver Sarge Thomas made the trip enjoyable with knowledgeable, funny history. He really shined on the trip to and through Old Town. This Tour was run by DC Trails-Viator sells the tour. The Mansion tour and the grounds tour on your own were great! A beautiful property rich in American history. Heard the museum was interesting and informative but did not have the time to see. Perhaps the only critique would be another hour at Mount Vernon would have been easily and enjoyably used!

It was a great tour. Charles Smith was our guide. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It takes about 5 hours. I would recommend this tour. There is an office at the LEfant Plaza. They were very helpful in getting us to our tour bus.

Charlie S. was great. He was well informed and filled with interesting historical information and stories.
He was engaging and friendly - really made an effort to be certain everyone on the tour had a good day!
I would definitely use viator again.
The only difficulty we had was finding the pick up location in the morning. Using the postal building across the street as the address to find would make the locating the pick up much easier.

Our driver and tour guide, Charles Smith, had so much information to share with us about not just George Washington but every thing we passed along the way. He wanted to ensure we knew what we were seeing and how it related to the history of the area.
