See the U.S. Capitol Building and Washington DC landmarks on a half-day guided tour in a climate-controlled shuttle bus. Save time with reserved entrance to the Capitol building, take in the sites along the National Mall, see the White House, and pass a series of iconic presidential and war memorials. This DC tour begins and ends at central locations by the National Mall, and offers a great introduction to the city’s highlights.
Make your way to a meeting point, then join a guide and group for reserved entry to the U.S. Capitol Building, skipping right past the admission lines.
After passing through security, watch a brief orientation film and explore the building with your guide, walking through the Crypt, Rotunda, and the National Statuary Hall. When the tour of the U.S. Capitol Building concludes, board a climate-controlled shuttle bus for a trip down the National Mall, a National Park lined with memorials and landmarks. Stop to see the White House from the North Lawn, and take in some of the most important memorials to presidents, national leaders, the military, and fallen soldiers.
Tour the National WWII Memorial and the monumental Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, then continue to the Lincoln Memorial to climb the famous steps to the President’s statue. See a moving tribute to the armed forces at the Korean War Veterans Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, then finish the day at the U.S. Navy Memorial, a centrally-located landmark that’s just off the National Mall.

The tour guide was excellent, full of good information, fantastic sense of humor, patient and prepared for everything. The driver was experienced and very polite. I certainly enjoy and recommend this company and this tour. Great value!!!!!!
The tour is definitely worth while doing. Our guide Christopher was very knowledgeable and had some great jokes to share. It was really interesting on all the places we were taken too we were given the right amount of time to see the monuments.
Tour guide made terrible attempt at humor. She didn’t know how to properly use a microphone in the bus and had no speaker outside. At one point we came to Lafayette Park and her only bit of information was the name of the park and that the statue was of Lafayette. I could have bought a map! I wish we could have walked away. Capitol tour was great but she wasn’t our guide.
This is a great tour. We started out with Christopher at the Capitol and were very impressed with him (ask him to name a statue from your state!). We thought we were going to be disappointed that he went with another group but we were wrong. Yanna is amazing. She came to USA in 1974 and must have spent a lot of time absorbing American history. She was extremely knowledgeable but also very entertaining. She’s just precious too.
Other things that are great about the tour are the small groups and air conditioned buses. Can’t go wrong with that in the DC summer heat and humidity!
Very nice tour. Driver(Thomas) was very safe and easily navigated around traffic and detours. Tour guide(Nick) was fun and friendly and entertaining. Really seemed to know his info and able to answer questions
Very long wait to see very little at capitol. Bus showed up 20 min late and found out our bus was overbooked and delayed more. Was very unorganized and poor communication. We left tour after seeing outside of white house . Would not recommend this tour
