It was a comfortable ride to and from, and we had plenty of time to walk around the grounds, before and after our tour without feeling rushed.

Property is Wonderful. Driver too political
Christine_H, Dec 2022
Mount Vernon and the actual property was incredible. Really enjoyed our time there. HOWEVER, the drive over and back was extremely uncomfortable. The driver told abortion jokes and made his political believes VERY clear. We were simply looking to tour our first President’s home - not hear how crappy the driver thought the last President was. Really unfortunate and uncomfortable.
The grounds were amazing....

Mount Vernon Alexandria
Dennis_B, Nov 2022
Bus did not arrive until scheduled departure time; we were told to arrive at least 10 minutes before departure. Total tour time was stated as 5 hours; it was four. Tour guide/ bus driver was knowledgeable, but hard to hear over the road noise, and it was dark on return drive obscuring many sights. Mt. Vernon is well worth seeing.
Very nice very nice

What a great tour but it isn't so much what made it great but WHO made it great - Robert, our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and his presentation was wonderful. Two thumbs up!

val_k, Oct 2022
Very knowledgeable driver. We were 20 minutes late getting started because we had to wait for people from another bus that was late
Disappointing-could have been much better!
Steve_S, Oct 2022
Sat in back of van and it was the roughest ride i can remember. Nearly bouncing out of our seats. At Mt. Vernon their shuttle was not running to distillery or gristmill- it would have been nice for tour to provide this since driver was just waiting for us to return.
