An easy way to visit the Washington Monument without having to wait in a line.
We all enjoyed it a lot! The group was not too big and our driver was really good.

The tour was excellent. Unfortunately, the Washington Monument was closed, but as a result we got to see all of the monuments except for WWII, due to some event or road construction issues, and we also got to see the Battle of the Buldge Monument in Arlington Cemetery. Our guide was excellent, had a good sense of humor, and always made sure everyone was present before he started talking at the monument sites. We did stop for lunch at one of the park refreshment stands - food just OK, but the tour can't control that.
Joey our Tour Guide and Sam our Driver provided us with an excellent tour of DC. Joey provided a lot more information than you would expect from a Tour Guide and it made our visit even better than we expected. Sam was very polite and efficient and was always waiting to take us to the next point.
We failed to reach our designated starting point for the tour as a result of a failure of the subway track. The tour operators were very gracious in allowing us to reschedule for the next day.
Our tour guide Joey was excellent. She was very casual in her presentation with the knowledge of a history professor. It was a very enjoyable tour
We really enjoyed our tour that ended with a trip up the inside of the Washington Monument. We really enjoyed our guide and the selection of monuments chosen. It was the perfect amount of time for each stop and the bus was extremely comfortable in the summer heat of the city.
Excellent tour. The trip up the monument was very exciting. Well worth the price for the tour.
The tour was great. The tour guide was very interesting and personable. We were disappointed that the Monument was closed.
Excellent tour on an air conditioned coach with water supplied - important for a hot August weekend! with all the monuments and memorials covered as well as the finale of going to the top of the Washington monument. Would highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time on our tour with Brian. We began right on time with a mini-bus that probably could seat 30 people. We started at the capital building, then off to the white house and admin buildings. Brian was very knowledgeable about the history of each location and added extra details that we all found helpful. We visited I think every monument, ending at the Washington Monument around 2 with timed admission. There is no way we could have covered this ground on our own and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend
Took my grandchildren for their first trip to DC. Very informative and they were asking questions about everything during and after the trip. Great experience.
The Washington Monument was closed due to elevator problems. Al and Ralph did a good job of expanding the other parts of the tour. What was scheduled for four hours actually ended up about five hours.
We enjoyed our guide, Mary, very much. She had knowledge and enthusiasm for the tour. We also appreciated the opportunity to go to the top of the Washington Monument.
Absolutely excellent! The tour guide, Joey, shared so many interesting stories and facts about each of the sites that the time flew by. The bus was clean and comfortable, the bottled water always available, and the driver, Frank, always had the bus exactly where we were told it would be. Our 14-year old grandson loved the tour as well. Highly recommended!
Punctual. Courteous staff. Interesting, informative and entertaining guide. No information overload just the essentials in a most friendly and absorbing manner. A perfect, well-planned and managed 4-hour tour. The best in the travel business. I plan to take all my DC visitors on this tour. Well done. Bravo. Bala
I took my 12 year old grandson with me on this tour and he thoroughly enjoyed it. It was suppose to be a four hour tour but was 5 hours. The tour guide was excellent!
Excellent tour! I would recommend it. Our tour guide-Ralph was very knowledgeable and entertaining. A great way to get into the Washington Monument.
My wife, two granddaughters 11 and 12-1/2 yrs old and I just loved this tour of the memorials and tickets to the top of the Washington Monument on August 03. It starts at 10:00 am at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue and ends around 2:20 pm at the Washington Monument which is about 8 blocks from where you started. Your transport is a large air-conditioned shuttle bus sans restroom. Our smooth driver was Sam who provided bottles of water and our outstanding tour guide was Brian. Brian has an incredible sense for making the tour factual, fascinating and funtastic with his enthusiastic personality. He kept track of his medium size entourage by grouping us as states or cities and he involved the kids by letting them carry the flag as we walked. Our granddaughters peppered Brian with many questions and he always answered them with a smile. Full of interesting and fun facts, it was never dull.
The tour started with a visit to the West steps of the Capitol. Then a visit to the north side of the White House and Lafayette Square with ample time to take pictures. Next stop was the impressive World War II Memorial 2004 with restroom. Followed by a visit to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial 1943 with snackbar and a quick stop at the new Martin Luther King Memorial 2011. The last memorial stop was a walking tour of the Korean War Memorial 1995, the Abraham Lincoln Memorial 1922 with restroom and Vietnam Memorial 1982. Lastly was a 2 pm 70-second elevator trip up to the top of the Washington Monument and picturesque views of our nations capital.
We had a car so I parked at 601 Pennsylvania NW. The Colonial car park entrance is actually on 6th street. Then it was a short 1 block walk to the tour starting point at the U.S. Navy Memorial Plaza. When we finished the tour, we walked over to the Smithsonian Museum of American History. After that, I walked back to the car park and drove back to pick up the girls at the museum. Well worth the tour price.
Esaw and Derrick were excellent guides. We got to see everything on our list and then some. Even though the White House was closed off, Esaw was persistent in finding a way to get us there. The highlight of the tour was the tickets to the Washington Monument, great views made it amazing.
Guide was brilliant and driver was polite when we were coming off the bus and returning. Safe driver!
Definitely recommend this tour!
Our tour guide, Esau, was the best! He had so much energy and kept our kids entertained. Since he is a native, he was very knowledgable about not only landmarks but also restaurants and history. It was the highlight of our DC trip. Also, the passes to the top of the Washington Monument allowed us to see such amazing views!
Great time and Ralph and Derek were a great team and took very good care of us. Their instructions and information was invaluable. Thanks for a great trip.

We had a wonderful experience! Highly recommended this tour. This complany went above and beyond professionalism when I thought I had lost my electronic device! Also the complementary cold water on a hot, muggy DC was so appreciated.
John was our tour guide and he was SUPERB!!!! He was very knowledgeable and added information that was obviously extra. He took pictures that were good, he knows his way around a camera. Very funny, The photos of us at the different sites were very appreciated. If you are lucky enough to get John as your guide you have hit the jackpot!
