My family really enjoyed the tour though it was a little long after walking and touring all day. The monuments are beautiful at night and the tour guide was very informative.
If you have a short time and want to see a lot, this is the tour to take.
This tour has everything!! Perfect size group about 10. Most comfortable and roomy vehicle over sized van. We saw all the sights like the Capital, White House, Navy Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, Vietnam and Koren Memorial and other historic buildings and sites. We were given time to get out at most of the sites to take pictures and to enjoy the sites. I have been on many tours over my traveling years and the best part of this tour was our guide. He was not just a guide, he was a historian and entertainer of a perfect balance. We heard a lot of history mixed with a lot of humor. He could not have been any better. If you have the time this is the tour you should not miss!!!
The tour was great. I have done tours before on a large bus, I enjoyed traveling on the van and talking with the other tourists.
My guide was fantastic and managed to connect with all of us.
Our tour guide Don, was not only professional and knowledgeable, he was friendly and super passionate! He knows all about DC. BEST thing was he gave us a tip on how to go the next day to the African American Museum of History and Culture - we got in! Thanks to Don. Our two sons, ages 13 and 15 even loved it. Teenagers! That is saying a lot! Thank you DON!!
Comfortable van, great tour guide, and the right amount of stops and time to take pictures and see the sights! Great tour for the money!
This trip was really enjoyable. Our driver was very informative and the stops were breathtaking. Definitely need to spend more time in D.C. to take in all that area has to offer. Additionally, we need to thank Viator who were very helpful in overcoming a scheduling issue we encountered. Great customer service!!
Very nice tour. We were on a minibus. Our driver was well versed. make sure to bring comfortable shoes. Great tour for those with limited time.
Really enjoyed this trip and again the guide was fantastic. Lovely to see these monuments both in the day and the evening tour. Really special.
Our tour guide was awesome. He had great facts about the city but also good humor mixed in. It was a small group. We loved getting out at the different monuments to walk around and get pictures. It was beautiful at night. I would highly recommend.
I would give this tour more than 5 stars, if that were an option! WOW!! This night time tour of the monuments was AMAZING and so much more than we were expecting. We thought we would be in a standard 15 passenger van. This beautiful, new luxury van pulled up and our jaws dropped. It had giant windows, reclining leather seats extremely comfy and ice cold A/C. very important in July with 90 degree heat! Our driver was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of the area and monuments that we saw on the tour. He also provided a large cooler full of iced down bottled water. No charge - no limit! This is by far the best way to see the main sights and monuments/memorials in DC. I highly recommend this tour!!! If we ever go back to DC, we will do it again! Thanks for an awesome time!! :
Great way to see the monuments. They look amazing at night and the crowds are smaller. Our guide was exceptional. Informative and entertaining. We were able to spend just the right amount of time at each stop to take photos and explore a bit before hopping back on the bus for the next stop.
I would tell anyone visiting DC for the first time to do this tour. The monuments and buildings are gorgeous at night, the tour guide gives you all sorts of history about them, plus time to take pics. Our guide was hysterical too. We had a blast, and other than the cold night, it was perfect. Worth every penny.

Another tour spoiled by freezing cold temperatures, which, when one is shivering and aching to the bone, does, sadly detract from the highlights. We made the most of it, and most of the sights did look lovely lit up. I'd hoped we'd see a few more of them, but the lights were out on many. Good friendly guide. Decent number of photo opportunity stops.
Highly recommended seeing the great monuments at night, tour guide was very good and also a nice small group. Plenty of time to take pictures and look around.
This was a great tour. Our driver was very informative and knew his stuff. I would have given it 5 stars but I was hoping for the mini bus with the big windows, but we got a van which was packed and not as comfortable. Some people had to be separated and couldn't sit together. We did feel rushed at certain spots, but we did have time to take a few pictures. Maybe adding a extra 30 minutes to the tour could help with that. Our driver did take us up to a church at the end of the tour for the best view of the City. Cold water was offered and appreciated. There are lots of options out there, but this tour picked up at the Hyatt where we were staying so it was very convenient.
The guide for this tour was knowledgeable and personable. The driver was great. It is hard to evaluate the tour content accurately because of the restrictions for the Fourth of July which blocked some attractions, but the ones we saw were good. Bus was comfortable.
Our guide was amazing his name was Todeau. I wish that we had gone to Thomas Jefferson Memorial and Iwojima instead of Roosevelt Memorial as it was so dark you couldn and #39;t really see and read the inscriptions let alone get any good pictures.we spent 40 min there which could have been used elsewhere..
The tour lay out was great but our driver was so BORING!!! There was 9 in our group and we wished we would have just taken an Uber. He was extremely knowledgeable but the information was delivered in such a blah way that we wished he would just not talk. Then when we got to the sites we had to wait what seemed like forever for him to finish a speech no one was listening too. At the end of the tour he went into his political views about the monuments which really upset one a woman in our group. When she told him she didn't want his political opinion he argued with her. She didn't back down so for again what seemed like forever he went off on a political rant, argued with a member of the tour. Not only should he have kept his political views to himself but to argue with a paying client was just plain wrong. Especially for those of us seeing the monuments for the first time. It is a very emotional expierence so to get back in the van and have the drive say we never should have been in the war and we built the monuments as a way to make the world forget we lost was insulting and shameful. Pick another tour
Our guide was very knowledgeable, however the tour was overbooked and we were uncomfortably crowded in a small van. Those in the center seat missed a lot of the monuments that were pointed out during the tour. Also, the tour guide catered to the children that were on board which got to be a bit annoying after a while, as he was more interested in impressing them than departing knowledge on the adults.
The size of the group and the van were not what I expected and I would not recommend this tour group. Yes it would have been nice to see all these monuments lit after dark, but we were not able to do that in such a crowded situation.
