What To Expect

At your selected departure time, meet your local guide and get fitted for a hybrid comfort bike near the National Mall, and embark on a bike tour of Washington DC's monuments and memorials.

Follow your guide at a leisurely pace over relatively flat terrain, using bike lanes that wind past notable historic landmarks in the dynamic capital. Stop en route to hear interesting facts from your guide about each site you visit, including the Washington Monument, a towering obelisk that honors the first US president.

Learn about the architectural features of the memorials along the Potomac Tidal Basin, including the stately Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Memorial. Read the many famous quotes at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and note the more than 58,000 names on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, a tribute to men and women who served in the Vietnam War.

Check out the National World War II Memorial and more before you ride back to the starting point, where your tour concludes.

If you are bringing kids (ours were between 10 to 11), then consider doing this monument tour instead of a guided bus monument tour.

Great tour!

Greg was a great tour guide! Quick stops, but felt it was enough time. Saw 10 different monuments. Would have been nice to get a little closer to White House.
Great experience.

Nicole was an amazing tour guide and made the experience so fun! We would highly reccomend her. Thank you.

I absolutely loved this tour! It was perfect for those who are interested in seeing all of the DC monuments and memorials. It would’ve taken hours or even days to get through all of these landmarks, but this tour allowed me to get through them within three hours. It was very informative and fun bike tour. David was an awesome tour guide and was very knowledgeable about DC, its history and its monuments. I thought it great that we were able to hop on and off the bikes throughout the tour to take pictures and videos instead of just cruising by them and keeping it pushing. I was extremely pleased with this tour. It was worth the money and I’ll recommend it to anyone who travels to Washington DC.
Great overview of Monuments, while getting some exercise!

In 3 hours you are able to see multiple monuments up close. It is true you only have about 10 minutes at a location, but this is the only way I would’ve been able to see SO much in such a short amount of time. It was a friendly group atmosphere. We had a very knowledgeable guide. (It gives you a layout of the city, and you can always go back and spend more time at any spots tgat gave more meaning for you, later in your trip.

A fun way to spend an active afternoon while enjoying a close-up tour of the monuments. Sam was attentive to the group and provided great informative overviews at each stop.

John was great! We got rained on but still had a blast. Learned a lot and saw a lot in a short amount of time. Took the full 3 hours to see 8 monuments/memorials.
Would do again!

We had a fantastic time. Ride was easy and flat most of the way. The guide was fantastic (Nadia). She was educational and a great leader.

The best way to see all the monuments. I can’t imagine trying to walk it. Our guide was fantastic and was very patient and knowledgeable!

Great tour of the monuments. Sam was a fantastic guide that engaged our whole family, ages 7-70. Would definitely recommend this tour as a great way to see everything and get around town!

We started 25 minutes late and missed some attractions. We’ve taken these bike tours abroad and loved them, this one seemed unorganized.
Great tour hitting all the DC monuments
Ramakrishna_N, Jun 2022
We had a great time on the monuments tour! Biking around to the different monuments on a picture-perfect day made for a fantastic tour, and our guide Shane was quite informative with the explanations he gave at the different stops. If anything, a little more time at each would have been great, but as it was we took the full 3 hours. It was amazing to hit all the big monuments in one tour… would highly recommend!
Great experience!
Meg_T, Jun 2022
Nadiya made this tour so fun and informative! Biking was easy even for someone who is really out of shape. This was an easy way to see all of the monuments and memorials, and our whole group aged 14 to 50 really enjoyed it.
Great family activity.

Easy bike riding and very informative tour. Our tour guide John was very good and knowledgeable. Enjoyed him and his energy.
Great Tour around DC
Stacey_R, Jun 2022
Tour was a 5 star+! Sam was a fabulous guide that wrapped you in his stories of the sites! A couple of cautions- arrive very early because the check in process is really slow. Also, even though you prepaid they charge your credit card $1 to verify it and then you’re give a phone number to call to have it reversed. Then they want to hold your driver’s license or other photo Identification while you are on tour. Again tour is great but operational aspect is lacking.
City Tour
Shannon_M, Jun 2022
David was a wonderful tour guide. My family truly enjoyed this tour. A lot of information was shared. Riding on a bike is definitely the best way to see the city.
Very memorable experience

The monuments are awesome, we had a great time! Love our guide John. I booked the wrong day and the company easily booked us for the next day
Bike at Night
renee_n, Jun 2022
So much fun! Jonathan was great. Our kids enjoyed his fun facts. The night tour was magical. Great pace and amazing evening. The only thing I would suggest is doing the Jefferson and Roosevelt at the beginning of the night tour. We were able to enjoy the Roosevelt because it was so dark and its such an interesting memorial.
Do this first!
Andrea_H, Jun 2022
The bike tour was the first thing we did upon arrival in DC. The tour was amazing! So professional and engaging! Perfect balance of bike riding and being able to get off and walk about to tour time. 100% recommend!!!
