It was beautiful seeing the monuments lit up at night and being able to get off the trolley to take pictures. The Iwo Jima Monument was stunning with the flag waving in the breeze and the full moon. Mike, our guide, stepped in on short notice to lead our tour of 9 people who were not able to be seated on the previous last tour. He narrated the tour with as much enthusiasm and knowledge as if he was speaking to a full group. Because of our small group size, at the end we were dropped off where we were staying, saving us the cost of an uber back, or walking to the Metro. We felt well taken care of. Thanks, Mike!

By far the best tour guide ever and they have all been amazing except our one on the first of September. This guides name was Smiley and what an amazing individual this guy was!! His knowledge of the DC area was amazing and we got to see more than ever before on the tour and I have been on this tour numerous times. He had an amazing ability to communicate with everyone, answer all of their questions. I think he mainly works on the weekends, but this night someone called in and he came in to cover and we were very lucky to get to experience this tour with him. Thanks Smiley for an amazing time!!! Look forward to seeing you again in the near future!!

I have taken many family members and friends on this tour many times and we have always had great tour guides/drivers with a lot of knowledge and personality!! This time was much different. It was raining throughout most of our tour and I could tell our guide was trying to give us a great experience which I appreciate, so that was good and he was funny. My problem was that he spent more time talking about his taxi driver days in Florida and DC than he did talking about the DC area. This is not what I brought my family members on to hear about. I wanted them to learn about the DC area and history, but that was not the case this time around. The guide was just awful this time. Hopefully next time will be better. I still think this is the best tour in the DC area by far and the Monuments by Moonlight is just amazing!! I don't think that one bad guide makes a terrible organization.....like I said, he tried hard to give us a great experience, but most of the topics were about his cabbie days....not cool.

Highly recommend this tour. Mr. History was fantastic and had a lot of historic information. Great option to see many of the monuments. Recommend doing the first night of your visit to get a good feel for the town and where everything is. Absolutely worth the time and money for this one!!!

Really enjoyed this one! First time we have done it and it was a great way to see the monuments in a whole different way.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, but more importantly, very entertaining. The tour was a wonderful opportunity to see all of the D.C. monuments lit up at night. I would do this again.

I felt it was kinda rush. Insufficient time for exploration

We only had one night in Washington and this was the ideal way to see everything that you would want to see. The tour guide was fantastic and very informative. Bus was comfortable and we saw everything that we wanted to see. We would recommend this to anyone visiting the city for the first time, especially if your time there is limited.

Highlight of our 4 days in DC! Our tour guide, MJ (bus #348), was awesome...informative and hilarious! Don’t know how he drives and talks so much, at the same time...effortlessly. Thank you for making our trip!
