The tour itself was amazing. Niagara Falls, Watkins Glen State Park, and the Hersey’s factory were great, beautiful places to see. I had an amazing time. I have only a few complaints: 1) since my tour group was small they used the mini bus which the seats were so uncomfortable. They didn’t adjust so I was stuck sitting in one position for six hours. If you ask the tour guide they will let you sit in the front sit which is way better than the back. 2) they didn’t mention about the extra costs. I notice it said the trip didn’t include entrance into the attractions so I figured once we get there we have to pay our own way in. Well once we got onto the bus the tour guide said we have to give $110, for every thing in cash. A few people in my group was shocked because there wasn’t a notice of fees on the Viator page or in the confirmation email. Only one person in our group knew about the fees and that is because she booked with a different tour company and they sent her an email with all of the cost and fees. 3) the overnight accommodations weren’t the best. The first night we stayed at Ramada Inn, it was so horrible. The beds were super hard and the room had a funny smell to it. The second day we got a much better hotel the Niagara Fall Inn, it was super close to the Niagara Falls. Both places said they offer a good breakfast but that was a lie. Both places offered toast, cereal, and fruit. 4) our tour guide was very nice but his English wasn’t the best so it was hard to understand what he was saying when he was giving us information. 5) the tour is put on my a Chinese tour company called universal tours and they put so on many tours so calling ahead to get information is like pulling teeth. I called the day before to get information I needed for check in; the first person hung up on me and the second one was rude.
