Make your way to Courtenay Place, where you'll meet your guide at 9am, then travel to the first stop of the day, a local coffee roaster. Wellington is known for its vibrant café culture, and you’ll meet the roaster for a talk about roasting and preparing coffee beans, followed by a coffee tasting. Continue to a local supplier of Asian products from around Southeast and East Asia—New Zealand cuisine is strongly influenced by Asian flavors and ingredients.
Visit a cheese importer for a tasting of cheeses from around the world, then make the final stop of the day at a chocolatier, where you’ll try a variety of homemade sweets. Throughout the tour, your group will explore some of Wellington’s most fascinating nooks and crannies, for an insider’s look at life in the capital city. This 4-hour tour concludes with drop-off back at the original departure point.
