Note that it is easy to get separated from your party.
Would definitely recommend setting aside 3 hours or so for a visit to the Castle.
Only other quick way to get there is by the express train, but that was on the other side of London so would have taken us just a long to get there an then the train.

Great place and good to know that you don’t REALLY have to have the tickets printed ahead of time - which was a relief to us who had no access to a printer while on vacation!!

Good visit, but the Chapel was closed on the day we arranged the trip, would have helped to know this when we picked the date. In addition most ticket holders are entitled to free re-entry for 6 months but not if you book through Trip Advisor/ Viator again you should be more up front and let people know this in advance!

Sadly the memorable part was just how busy and crowded it was inside given the Covid situation. Far too many people allowed in at one time. We had to stand in crowds queuing to get through the state apartments. Felt vulnerable. Visited in October 21 and was very different and a much safer experience. Understand it’s the holidays but there was no crowd control through the indoor sections. Having to queue meant we had to rush at the end to see everything before car park ticket ran out.
Great place to visit well worth the entry fee, but be warned

Great visit. Informative house attendants, incredible rooms to see. Free audio guide. Allow minimum 3 hours to really appreciate all there. However Only downside is by buying tickets in advance through Viator you do not get the 12 months free revisit that you get if you book direct with the Windsor booking site. Otherwise all else was great and very easy using Viator.

Unfortunately we could not be at Windsor due to the travel restrictions change to self isolate, not our choice so find it is disappointing you would not refund ticket price

They say usually do nit accept 3rd party tickets, so at every step was very uncofortable when we had t9 show them the tickets. Make sure you buy them from official site.

Everything basically. Tour was so interesting, so much history involved. State rooms were exceptional. Was looking forward to seeing the Dolls houses but unfortunately was closed.
