Experience rural Myanmar on a 5–6-hour tour from Yangon, and visit pottery studios, pagodas and vibrant neighborhood markets. Cross the tidal Twante Canal alongside fishermen and riverboats and explore a renowned potters’ village; explore artisans’ studios and shops then try your hand at the local craft. Climb to the gleaming spires of the hilltop Shwesandaw Pagoda, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and explore a bustling produce market before boarding a return ferry to Yangon.
You'll meet local people and have the chance to use your hands during a traditional pottery lesson with an artisan in Twante. Riding the ferry is also a nice way to experience life like a local.
i only remember that it was very good but i could not do a lot of things because of severe arthritis pain in the right hip. could not walk to the jetty and had to take a taxi. the guide was excellent and also did the
night market with him.
Nice tour with a visit in a pottery, a pagoda, a very special pagoda with snakes and a nice ferry trip.
