Make your way to the tour office, located at 906 Scott Street in Gardiner, at 11:30am for your 12pm departure. You'll be provided with a wet suit and water gear, then board a tour vehicle for a 15-minute ride to the river. On the shore, listen to a water safety briefing, then board your raft and paddle off into the current with your guide giving directions.
Spend the next 2-3 hours paddling through class III and IV rapids while getting lovely views of the river and its surroundings. This tour is suitable for whitewater rafting enthusiasts with some experience and who are in good physical shape. There is a minimum of 4 adults per booking required; the raft will accommodate between 6 and 8 adult paddlers, plus a guide.
Go ashore, where guides will meet you and transfer you back to the tour office, where you'll dry off and get an opportunity to buy some of the photos taken during your trip.
