Great way to see Slovenia (which is an absolutely amazing place). Bled is beautiful and if one is doing Slovenia then Bled is a must visit location. We would have preferred of the guide had spoken during our journey about Slovenia or showed places around. The journey was boring and we mostly slept.
Loved this tour. Ljubljana was a brilliant city to visit for a few hours. We went up to the castle via the funicular which was fun. Then we found this brilliant little fish restaurant called Ribca which was just down the stairs from the meeting point which was the tourist agency. table on the water with great prices and brilliant service. Then off to Bled. Wow, breathtaking. Take your bathers for a swim for sure!! The boat ride over to the island was expensive and I wouldn't recommend this. My tip would be swim around the drop off area for 1-1/2 and then do the castle for the most amazing views!! There is a lot of time in the car on this tour is the only downside but the tour covers another country from Croatia and is well worth the travelling. We only had one other couple with us. No guided tour on this trip just free time in both locations which was perfect for us. Recommend this trip, however, after seeing Bled, I would have rather re-gigged my trip and stayed a couple of nights there instead - it is that good. Enjoy!!
