Just amazing. We could have had an awful guide and it would have still been an amazing tour.
Stunning, beautiful, must see.
Please respect the park and do not litre.
1. Timing: On time pick up from pre-decided/ fixed location
2. Tour guide Tamara: knowledgeable, provides the required information will provide you more info if requested, able to manage the group well, extremely clear in communication, accommodating and flexible towards any special needs
3. Tour: well organised and good coverage with the much required break on the way to Plitvice National Park from Zagreb city.
To be taken care off
1. Although nothing to do with the tour operator, the queues at the lunch station may get very long as there were only 2 caterers. Hence, it might take longer than expected at the lunch area.
2. Comfortable footwear with good grip is a must. Warm clothing it got a little chill as we walked up the National Parks during Oct
3. Return to Zagreb city might take longer than onward journey considering the traffic jams. Hence, plan any events post return from Plitvice with caution.
Amazing tour and an amazing park!! Tammy was amazing and informative!! Definitely take this tour when in Zagreb! You won’t regret it!
Lucky us! After reading the reviews for this tour were blessed with Tammy Tamara as our tour guide. We knew the lakes were going to spectacular but our 2 hour ride from Zagreb to the lakes was made better with our guide. Tammy was very informative, gave us group of 16 the history of the areas struggles and ultimate fate. Tammy makes this trip at least 3 times a week but you can tell by her enthusiasm that she is so proud and in love with her country. I don't blame her, this tour was the highlight of my trip to Croatia, and that is saying a lot considering the country is awesome!!!
This is one of the most beautiful places on earth, I'm convinced. The tour is a small group of no more than 8. Our guide Andrea was pleasant and non-intrusive as we walked through the park. She was there if we had questions, but left us alone to go at our own pace and take photos/selfies.
It was a great tour! A kind note - lots of walking requires in this tour but it wasn't an issue and I really enjoyed it!
This was an excellent trip that I would highly recommend.
Although our hotel Hotel Dubrovnik was not on the list of selected hotels that pick-up was offered from, they were happy to pick us from there. The tour company contacted me 2 days prior to the trip to confirm the pick-up time and arrived at the agreed time.
We were met by our tour guide Marco, who was very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We were part of a small group of 8 people and once everyone was on board in Zagreb, Marco gave us some facts and information on the city. Marco continued to give us facts on Croatia and the various regions we passed through throughout the journey. Marco was happy to answer questions that anyone asked during the journey.
After about 90 mins travelling, we made a brief stop about 20 mins at a small town, Rastoke, for anyone that needed a toilet break, a drink or just a stretch of the legs. Rastoke was very pleasant and we got some nice photographs here.
After about another 30 mins we arrived at Plitvice Lakes and Marco recommended that anyone that needed to do so went for a toilet break or buy drinks/snacks, whilst he went to collect the tickets. I would definitely recommend getting drinks for the trip, especially during hot summer months. The shop had only a selection of sandwiches, so if you want to take any other snacks it would be best to pick these up in Zagreb.
Marco lead us to a bus which took us to the top of the park and we then walked downhill for the trip. This meant that the tour started off less crowded and it was easier going that walking up those hills in the summer heat. Throughout the trip Marco ensured that everyone was ok and did a good job of keeping the group together. There was plenty of opportunities to take photographs, so much so that I have literally hundreds of pictures from the day!
The park itself is so beautiful that it's indescribable, the waters were such an unusual colour that they need to be seen to be believed. Marco guided us around all of the lakes over a walk that took several hours, the ground underfoot is quite uneven so sturdy shoes or trainers are needed. The only negative from the day was just how busy the park is.
At the end of the guided tour Marco lead us to a boat which took us across one of the lakes to one of the entrance/exits, we then had about 90 mins free time to have lunch, walk about park on our own or take a rowing boat on one of the lakes. Marco then collected the group together and lead us to our bus to return to Zagreb and be dropped off back at our hotel.
Amazing Amazing Amazing. Definitely one of the big highlights of my holiday.Trip by bus was comfortable and guide was friendly and knowledgable. Photos do not do it justice. Truly an exceptional place. We had amazing weather. Sunny but not too hot making the trekking easy and the waters azure blue and crystal clear. Have not stopped raving about it. Do not hesitate to go.
I thoroughly enjoyed my day trip to Plitvice. Andrea was a great host and had lots of details on the area and the history including surprise stops along the way. I also appreciated the small group size.
This scenery we saw on this tour was beautiful. Being a small group meant we could be flexible and still meet all expectations. Our guide, Tammy, was excellent. She provided general information and her local knowledge enabled us to make the most of our time at the Plitvice Lakes National Park. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

If you are in Zagreb, don't miss this tour to the beautiful Plitvice Lakes. Our guide was Tammy and she made sure we saw as much as we could of this scenically beautiful area. The tour was very well organized and worth the money.
I booked a ticket for this small group tour through the Plitvice Lakes and it was worth every single penny. We got to get to know each other during travel times, and got to spend the better part of the day exploring the national park. I absolutely loved this tour, and have recommended it to anyone that I have met that travels to Zagreb. Croatia is awesome, and getting to see a lot more of the countryside with the tour was an added benefit to this tour! Convenient, educational, and fun! It is a must!
This was such a great tour and I highly recommended. Our tour guide was great and was so informative :
One of the best ever. It was an awesome place. And tour guide is caring and patient. I would do it again if given the chance to go back.
This was a great one day trip to a very scenic part of Croatia. The lakes and surrounds were beautiful. The guide Tin was very knowledgeable and the stop at the War Museum for the Croatia conflict was interesting and Tin was very passionate about the story and how it came about. Plenty of breaks and paced nicely throughout the day.
Visited Plitvice lakes in September,2016 via this tour. The place was exceptionally beautiful and there are enough reviews about why this is a must visit. As promised it was a small group 11 members including us which was good because our guide Tamy could get tickets quickly and the group dynamics ensured that there was no time wasted in waiting. We got a lot of info about Croatia, its culture, history, etc from Tamy which was useful. The walking distance sounded too much but it wasn't tiring at all and I was rearing to do another 3-4kkm atleast. And as promised the hotel pickup time was informed to us via email a couple of days before the trip and they stuck to the timings to the dot. Highly recommended to opt for this tour in case you are planning to visit Plitvice Lakes.

This was an amazing trip! Comfortable bus, Group of 10 people.Tammy is a very energetic tour guide and has great charm and excellent communication skills. There is a bit of walking on this tour 6-7 miles but mostly downhill so not too hard on older people. The lakes are wonderful and a must to see.
great guide and good driver to take us there. hotel pick up was fine. guide was very knowledgeable. the park is fantastic and worth the 2 hour journey which also went through some great countryside overall day was from about 8am to 6 pm
Spectacular scenery, endless waterfalls and lakes make this a must visit site. The parks department has done a great job with the walkways.
This tour was beyond amazing! Tammy is a terrific guide and very engaging!!! 11/10 would recommend!!!
The tour was absolutely beautiful... One of the prettiest places on earth. The tour guide Tammy, was knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out important natural and historical places along the way. She was like traveling with an old friend, and really went the extra mile.
