great trip to the lakes- offered a good balance between moving people along and allowing time to take photos etc. very cheerful and friendly guide Tami and the lakes are really really beautiful at this time of year with spectacular waterfalls. It is a tourist activity so there were lots of people there but not crowded..

the city tour certainly found us things to go back and look at in more detail that we would have missed if we had not done it.

Exceptional tour! Tami, our tour guide was really knowledgable, flexible and really a nice person as a whole. Good time spent in Plitvice lakes in terms of where to go and places for good photos. We also did the Zagreb Walking Tour the next day which was about 2 hours. Good introduction by the tour for places to see in the city afterwards.

Both the Zagreb history walking tour and small group Plitvice Lakes National Park Day Trip were excellent. The history walking tour was very informative and gave us the perfect historical context for our first visit to Zagreb. And, of course, Plitvice Lakes National Park is absolutely amazing! Tamara, our guide, did a terrific job with leading us through the park including walking, a train ride, and a boat ride. Pace was perfect and she knew all the best places for photos! I would highly recommend both!

Plitvice Lakes is really beautiful. Unfortunately it was raining quite heavily that day and the upper lakes were closed, due to flooding. Our guide took us to the lower lake, where we spent only a few hours, as the trails were flooding there as well. All in all, we were able to appreciate the beauty of the area and may even try again in the future. Our guide was great and she went out of her way to make the experience as pleasant as possible under the circumstances. Our walking tour of Zagreb the next day was great. Our guese is very well informed and has the ability to make the city come to life. She was charming and gracious..

The Plitvice Lakes portion of this trip was fantastic - 5 stars, a great guide, and very professional/accommodating despite a car accident that required a three hour detour. The lakes are a must-see while in Croatia. However, I reduced the overall rating because I waited for the guide for the Zagreb walking tour for 30 minutes and they never showed so I ended up visiting the sites without a guide.
