5 star rating: Highly Recommended July 2015

I decided to take this tour although it was relatively new on Viator without any reviews! I am glad I did! The other walking tour was just way over-priced. Also, many interesting things about Zagreb stay in the upper town, so it was nice delving into the uptown version of Zagreb. Filip was my tour guide. His knowledge about the town and the history of Croatia fascinated me. If you're not that into history, just tell him to move onto other things. I was lucky that no one else showed up for the tour, so I took a private tour with Filip. I highly recommend the tour for those who want to know more about Zagreb and the path Croatian people have taken to get to where they are now.

We took this tour with a group who we had cruised with for the previous week, so there was a comradely that would not be found in other groups. But our guide was very pleasant with a refreshing sense of humor, and gave a good overview of the city, its present conditions and its hopes for the future. A good way to round out your visit to the area.
