A full day tour round the island. There are opportunities to stop off and swim. There is a stop at the shipwreck as well. It is a good way to see the island and relax on board the boat. The coach picked us up from outside of our hotel and dropped us off there. So very convenient.
Excellent day around the island! I was staying in Kalamari and they picked me up and drove us to Zante Old Town for departure and took us back!
Amazing opportunity to see right around the Zakinthos coastline. Includes 'swim stops' in which you were allowed to jump/dive off the back of the boat - absolutely breathtaking views and, oh my God, the colour of that water. Shipwreck cove was stunning - better views than the Caribean. Not a lot of money to pay for a great day out. If I had stayed in Zakinthos for two weeks instead of one, I would've done the tour again in the second week. Can't recommend highly enough! Boat has toilet facilities and a great cafe/bar facilities.
This tour was amazing!
Lots of stop offs for swimming(Shipwreck bay being one of them)and loads of photo opportunities of little virgin coves and caves all along the coastline and if you and #39;re lucky a school of dolphins may pass by .Can be a little tiresome for the non swimmers who have to wait while others are swimming.
Must do when in Zakyntos! the shipwreck beach was breathtaking, although we couldn and #39;t swim around or walk on the beach as the sea was to choppy. The Keri Caves are beautiful too and there are 2 more stops to different beaches including Korali beach where you have plenty of time to swim around.
Save your money and go on the ship wreck only tour this was expensive and very crammed over 500 people on the boat felt like a ferry with sun loangers
The places such as shipwreck beach were absolutely stunning and a must see. With that said you must endure 8 hours of a tour in which you have no clue of what you are looking at, because the tour is in another language, Russian I believe. We had no clue how much time we were spending anywhere.
This is really just a large ferry driving around the whole island - it's good in that you see all the island but it is vey boring. The trip wasn't dictated in English, only Greek, Polish, Italian and Russian guess so we didn't hear any facts about the island at all - which was very disappointing as that's why you go on these kind of tours. Not sure why they thought it would be fine to not speak in English?
When we got to Shipwreck Beach the sole reason anyone goes on these there was a notice given to everyone again, not in English, and then the boat started driving away - apparently it was too rocky and the boat couldn't stop. It was very disappointing, however understand that safety comes first.
Overall - a good way to see the whole island and it's a HUGE island, nice to stop for swimming etc but boat was crowded, large, slow moving and there was no atmosphere. Would not recommend this as a tour - very boring.
The day started on a rather overcrowded boat which was filled to capacity.
.At an estimate there were approximately 300 people on the boat which made for a rather unpleasant and crowded experience. Many patrons were smoking , ignoring signs that smoking was not permitted.
In addition the same excursion purchased locally was 50 less than what we paid.
Such a difference seems ludicrous. I do not recommend this tour for the above reasons.
