Perfect introduction to Zaragoza

We would highly recommend this to other travellers. If possible, do this tour at the start if your trip. Jorge told us all about the city’s history while we drank amazing wines and tried exciting tapas with food combinations we’d never heard of before. He also gave us useful tips for which attractions, restaurants and tapas bars to try during the remainder of our stay.

A Splendid Evening in Old Zaragoza

A fabulous evening with Jorge. He gave an excellent background on Zaragoza, took us through the stunning Pilar basilica the to four restaurants with delicious wines and unusual tapas. Five stars to both Jorge and the evening!

We discovered wonderful places to eat and drink we would have never found on our own. All with wonderful atmospheres.

A Great Experience!

This was one of the highlights of our visit to Zaragoza. Jorge is very friendly and personable. He began the tour by giving us a brief overview of Zaragoza's history. We weren't expecting that, but it was an excellent way of putting the entire experience in its proper context. Throughout the tour he also made sure to point out landmarks and spots he recommended to check out. We recommend you do this tour early during your stay or even on the first day when you get to Zaragoza. It was a great way of getting to know the city, visit interesting restaurants, and get a lot of recommendations of things to do for later. In this tour, you will taste wines made throughout the Aragón region as well as local tapas. As you sip your glass of wine, Jorge explains what you're tasting and shares information about the region from which the wine come. My only suggestion to Jorge is that the wine and tapas be more purposefully paired together, so that they better complement one another. At the end of the tour, we were pleasantly surprised with a nice gift of local turrón once Jorge learned we were there for a special occasion! We definitely recommend Jorge and his tour!
