5 star rating: Highly Recommended November 2015

The tour was fantastic and well-organized. We checked into our hotel Thursday night, and booked the trip for Friday. Unfortunately, we didn't have Chinese cell phone numbers, so I was a little procarious as to how we would find out about the pick up details. I assumed it was going to be sent via email, but when we checked into our hotel, we were told that our tour guide called the hotel to relay the information for it. It was a great surprise!

As for the tour itself, it was amazing. Our tour guide, Melody, was personable and friendly. By the end of the trip, she ended up becoming a great friend and contact in Zhangjiajie! Unfortunately, the views from the mountain were limited since it was rainy and foggy, but we were still able to see enough. Overall, though, a fantastic adventure from an even more fantastic guide!
