If you have young children, which may take longer for breakfast, and if you are not staying near the Bus Station area, it will be a rush getting there before 8am.
This is an all day trip, so be prepared, but well worth it.

The tour guide was absolutely fabulous. She was knowledgeable and informative. She looked after us, and made sure that we have all the opportunities that this particular tour had to offer.

Absolutely amazing trip and I highly recommend! Our tour guides were fabulous. Such a great experience and you spend time with your group and time by yourself to enjoy Jungfrau.
Worth the price and cold

I'll give you a full run- through on what to expect. Bus terminal is easy to find but eat beforehand and have your coffee. You can't eat or drink on the bus. At our first stop, I left my water on the bus and it got thrown away. So if you do bring water or snacks, hide them in your back pack or jacket. I actually knew you couldn't bring stuff on the bus but thought it was open Food and drinks outside of water. Was disappointed to see my water be thrown away. No Bathroom on bus. Plan accordingly. Takes about 2 hours for the first stop (Interlaken) which was OK. We had an hour to walk around. The bathroom in the town was coins only. You get told not to really eat here since the next place will have sandwiches you can buy. Interlaken was OK. The actual mountain/ Destination was awesome! You do go on a snow platform where it is cold and I saw a lot of people slip but you'll be fine in running shoes. I wore my Chelsea boots and was fine. COLD though. Wear layers and bring gloves. The food when you get to mountain wasn't great and they were crappy sandwiches which were expensive. So plan on being hungry unless you sneak some food through. At the end, (around 4) we got to go through the Cafe line for more food. Expensive and didn't look good. When it was my turn in line, all the food was done. So plan ahead. Bus trip back is like 2 hours. Going there is 90 minutes to Interlaken then 30 minutes. The gondola ride, the views atop the mountain and all were awesome. Worth the price for that alone. The logistics were not fun as it relates to food, drinks, bathroom, etc
Great location nightmare guide

The destination is fantastic- if you want a nice ride to the mountain, and to experience the alps I say this is a great way to go. That being said, this was my second tour with this company and it was the second time I dealt with horrible guides. - not all of the guides are bad in fact let me say the nice young male guide with the small group there at the same time- name??!- was so kind and professional! I was sick from the altitude because I wasn’t able to eat all morning and he basically saw I was in trouble and carried me to the cafe where I could rest and eat. My guides of course were no where to be found. The mountain was amazing and I would do it again. The warning- eat before you go. I brought my breakfast to eat on the king ride there. But no food or drink on the bus. And then we only stopped for 15 min and it is barely enough time to go to the bathroom and get back to the bus. Make sure to have the right coin for the toilet. Otherwise you will have to run desperate through the town to a store to buy something and get some. Everyone was rude about it too. Awful. And I was late getting back. Along with everyone else. It was truly miserable. And annoying because rather than help us with import issues like food and bathroom- the guides are busy handing out coupons for shopping- as if there is time to shop. Insane. The head guide on my trip was rude and wouldn’t let me on the bus without putting on their sticker. I needed to sit to do so- but she didn’t care. And the other guide intervened and let me on, but then the witchy one screamed at her to follow me and see that I put it on. Seriously. She did, and then hugged me to make nice. But so stupid and unnecessary. Besides which, the stickers don’t stay on very well so be prepared to be pressing on it and checking it all day- well at least at first. They don’t care once you are on the way back. Because mine fell off somewhere between passing out in the cafe and running through the ice palace. I met some cool people and managed to have a good time- thanks to the wonderful male guide and the other single ladies on my tour. So yeah, sticker, have change, eat first, and try to get the guy. The tour company has an easy to find location, and nice buses. I would fire a few of the guides… but people seemed pretty rude in Zurich in general so maybe that’s normal and to be expected. ? Idk.

Amazing day, would highly recommend this tour!!! The tour guides were friendly, bubbly and always happy to take a photo for you or help out. The day was full but there was always plenty of time to explore and we didn't feel rushed. We were lucky to have such clear weather for our trip. The bus was comfortable and the guides very knowledgeable.

Very well done tour. Nice adventure for anyone to enjoy. Restaurant was very good. Once in a lifetime views from the top of the mountain. Gondola ride goes over the mountains with amazing views of the mountains.
Go for the gold if you are going to take a day trip. Well worth the time and money.

Great tour, especially if its good weather. Our guide Annete and her assistant did a wonderful job. We had a double decker bus with a great driver Ritchie who navigated the Swiss roads perfectly. I soaked up all the commentary by the guide. Really informative. We stopped to pick up a few more people in Lucerne and Interlaken. In Interlaken we had a nice 1 hour stop to walk around a bit. I chose this tour because this had the Gondola ride before the train ride. Others did not. Price is not that much more than if you do this on your own. Once you get to the top just go on your own and follow the tour signs and it will guide you through the stops in an easy to navigate order. You are given plenty of time to explore on your own. Group had a reserved train departure time and plenty of explanation on when to return to leave. Reversed direction on train and Gondola to bus. Definitely bundle up no matter what time of the year. It's better to take more clothes than needed than not enough. Expect to feel some effects from the altitude but it's manageable
Great tour guides, loved the experience!

Katrin and Sophia did a phenomenal job in keeping all the guests safe, secure, and entertained. Everything moved in a very organized manner, and our family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during our first trip to Switzerland. The views were amazing, and given the process in getting to the top, I don't think we could have done this on our own. Weather was poor the day we decided to take this tour unfortunately, but still a great experience. I'd recommend going on a clearer/sunnier day when you can actually see all the great views the top has to offer.
Great journey to the highest railway station of the world

Amazing views

This tour is a feast for your eyes, we have a great weather the entire tour. In every stop you will have great views from the alps. In October you can see the different colors of autumn. Our guide Eduardo gave us great information and was very close to the group.
A perfect way to experience the Swiss alps and learn about Switzerland
jennifer_a, Nov 2022
This trip was an absolute highlight of a six week European adventure. It was extremely well organised and I was particularly pleased we had a great amount of time at Jungfrauroch (3hrs) to explore and wait for the cloud to clear. Gallus was our guide and from the moment we left Zurich he provided such comprehensive information about not only what we were passing (even though we could not see because of low clouds) but also life in general in Switzerland. I could not recommend this more highly!

Efficient Trip to Top of Europe
Abdulrahman_A, Nov 2022
If you have limited time in Switzerland, and you’re staying in Zurich, then this trip is for you. Below is the breakdown of the trip details. Basically, we took the bus from Zürich to Lucern, we picked up some people who are booking the same trip and on we went to Interlaken. In Interlaken, we stayed for around 30 minutes only. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION. If you want more time in Interlaken, this trip IS NOT for you. The same operator offers a different trip where you can have up to 5 hours free time in Grindelwald and Interlaken, but you cannot go to Jungfraujoch in this other trip. Anyway, after spending 30 min going up and down the street in Interlaken, we hopped on the bus and drove to Grindelwald, which is around 20 min drive. In Grindelwald we got off the bus and took the Eiger Express to top of the mountin to the train station (IT WAS THRILLING). Then, from the train station we took the train to Jungfraujoch. There we got off and started taking the Jungfraujoch Tour. I personally first had lunch in one of the restaurant because I was starving. Then started the tour. We had around 3 hours there, and it was more than enough to complete all the tour destinations (a total of 6 destinations plus the souvenir shop). First, you take the elevator up to the observatory and see THE TOP OF EUROPE. Then, you visit the tunnel that they built and it’s truly a journey through history. Then at the end of the tunnel, you arrive to the 3rd destination which is the ICE PALACE. Really cool place. Then you arrive at the PLATEAU, which is an open space to play in the snow. The 5th destination, is the SNOW FUN, where you can play in the snow, sliding and skating. HOWEVER, the SNOW FUN was closed actually (25-OCT to END OF MARCH), but there was a cool coffee/drink spot there. The 6th destination was also closed, which is I believe a restaurant that you have to walk to for 45 min in the snow, kind of cool, but there wouldn’t have been enough time to do it anyway. This marks the end of the journy. As I mentioned above, it is a very good trip if you’d like to visit the top of Europe with limited amount of time. WORTH TO MENTION: - The trip is long, so make sure you get a good breakfast and pack some snacks and water, and get a good night sleep the night before. - Again, don’t expect to spend much free time in Interlaken, we had around 30 min minus the time to get from/to the bus. - You only visit Grindelwald to hop on the Eiger Express and go up the mountin. THERE’S NO FREE TIME IN GRINDELWALD. - No need to buy snow boots, I wore my Yeezy’s and it was fine, in the snow and in the ice palace. ONE LITTLE ISSUE I FACED: - After we got off the bus in Interlaken, I had some coffee, and when I brought the coffee back with me to the Bus, the driver said: “It’s not allowed to bring coffee to the bus”!!! They did not mention this anywhere, and THEY LITERALLY SAID AT THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY THAT DRINKS ARE ALLOWED. Anyway, I satyed outside the bus and drank my coffee, then got in. TO MY SURPRISE, when I was walking to my seat, many people had their coffee with them in the bus, and no one said nothing!!! So please, THIS IS FOR THE OPERATOR OF THE TRIP, MAKE SURE YOU CONVEY CLEAR MESSAGE REGARDING THE DRINKING AND EATING BEFOREHAND, AND ENSURE THAT THE RULES ARE APPLIED FOR EVERYONE EQUALLY. ENJOY 🌹
