Great

We had a great time on this tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and made the best of the tour even thought we had some bad weather. We go to sample multiple local chocolates that we had never heard of before and can't get where we live. Later in the week we revisited the chocolate shops to load up on our favorites to take home.
Delicious

Ester was so personable and knowledgeable. Truly enjoyable, delicious tour in inclimate weather. Ester gave practical chocolate purchasing tips as well.

Great chocolate tastings, good background and general history of Zurich. Walking through the old Town to try the chocolate provided a nice overview. Good crowd

We had a group of 14 and visited three of the chocolate companies’ shops in the downtown area. The chocolate was wonderful and it was a variety of flavors. Peter our guide did a good job providing history and culture while we walked and sampled the chocolates. My only issue was that one couple occupied much of his time with their questions and it dragged on for 2 hrs instead of the expected 90 minutes.

Fabulous tour. Esther combined information about the history of Swiss chocolate with Zurich history and of course plenty of chocolate samples. Highly recommend.
Not chocolatey enough
Ana_d, Apr 2022
Our tour guide Noa was lovely and we had a nice group, not too big. Unfortunately apart from one or two anecdotes there wasn’t much history about chocolate at all or about the places we went to for samples. You’d also think the company could buy chocolate in bulk so we can have better value. Overall I expected this to be mostly about chocolate but it was some generic Swiss history with samples from three of the most typical chocolate shops, rather than local gems.

Where was the chocolate?
Expedition826810, Oct 2019
The tour guide did a good job with what she was given although she was very quiet. There were three chocolate stops, Sprungli, Oro Chocolate and Teuscher. We got about 3 pieces of chocolate. There were 22 people on the tour. The ticket itself says it included "entry/admission" to Sprungli. However, this is a store, everyone can go in? I assumed that we would get some sort of special admission or tour of Sprungli, that was not the case. Chocolate at two of the stops were passed around by the group, meaning everyone was either reaching into the same bag for their piece of chocolate or using their fingers to break a piece of chocolate off of a bar, disgusting. Many were not pleased by this method of passing around samples. All together, there was not nearly enough chocolate on this tour to call it a "chocolate tour" and not nearly enough of a city tour to call it a "city tour", this needs to be re-worked in my opinion. Did not feel we got our money's worth.

The guide was amazing. She really knew her stuff and the added little titbits she told on the way made the walking tour superb.
Bad!

Bad! Could not use voucher printed as ticket. Lost my money. Would not recommend this service. Entire situation was a fiasco. How do I get my money back?

Great tour
poissonsmaigres, Mar 2019
This is a nice 2 hours walk around old town, learning about the history/culture of Zurich, and tasting chocolate from 4 very nice stores. Bring water or some drink! The chocolate was really good but you can only have so much before you need to wash it down with something. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable.

This was a nice tour both for the information about the city as well as hitting the chocolate shops! Our guide Daniel was knowledgeable and enjoyable. We did quite a bit of walking and it was a bit rushed. Definitely worth taking for a variety of reasons.
