Fantastic day trip from Oaxaca! Hierve el Agua was beautiful and we loved being able to swim in the pools. Hike down was a bit too steep for us so we stuck to the elevated portion via the stairs. Still had amazing views of the falls! Mezcal distillery was very interesting, delicious samples and well priced. Our guide Rodrigo and our driver Eduardo were fantastic! Would recommend!

It was beautiful to experience the nature out in Oaxaca, plus the mezcal tasting! Leon was an excellent tour guide. Jose the driver was also great! With Leon's vibrant personality and insightful information, we were able to make lovely memories together but, also with our fun group. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oaxaca.

      Well organized. Plenty of time at Hierve. Friendly tour guides. Comfortable minibus. We also stopped at a cempasuchil farm as it was week of Dua de Muertos
      The perfect way to see Hierve el Agua and a Mezcal plantation.

      This was a blast. Our guide was super fun and very knowledgable. Hierve el Agua is a stunning formation you cannot miss while in Oaxaca, and the three-hours the tour leaves you there is more than enough time to do a quick hike, swim in the pools, and grab a bite to eat. The mezcal tasting and plantation tour was also fantastic with deeply enthusiastic, passionate staff that love what they do. Our tour, however, ran two hours over the allocated time. That was partially because our Mezcal tasing went over, and also because there were protests in the area that caused a traffic nightmare to no fault of the tour. We would highly recommend this experience.

      Love it ! Estefania was the perfect guide, funny and knowledgeable. The nature at the cascade is beautiful and the swim such a nice addition. The degustation of Mezcal was also such a fun moment. We leave this tour with a lot of precious memories.

      Absolutely amazing experience. Our guide was Rodriquez and driver was Eduardo. They went every extra mile to make this experience memorable. From explaining the history in detail to ensuring we are really enjoying the experience, he left nothing on chance. Distillery experience followed by mezcal tasting was great too We probably tasted 10 different variants and learnt a lot about the drink. Highly recommend!

      The tour and the guide was great. For sure worth the drive. So much information was given. The hike then the dip in the water was so rewarding. Then the mezcal factory and agave farm was a great way to end the day.

      Book this tour with Margarita. Margarita was our tour guide, and she knows how to have fun, and ensure everyone had a great experience. She is algo really knowledgeable about the places we visited, so you’ll learned a lot about Oaxaca’s history and the culture. I title my review false advertisement because it was beyond my expectations. Definitely book this tour if you like hiking, swimming in mineral pools, drink mezcal and enjoy traditional artisan bread.

      Loved the tour guide Margarita!!! She was so funny! Favorite part was the Mezcal tour, she really took of us and was super knowledgeable! And the bakery actually had GOOD food. Usually the tours take you to some expensive bad restaurant. But the bakery was cheap and delicious! Gladly got a Tamal with a hot chocolate.

      The hike was great. An hour and 15 mins for the 'long' variety. Waterfalls are great, but the real treat is the ponds for swimming with a view. Maguerita, our guide was awesome and super fun to hang out with. The distillery tour was fun and they sent above and beyond for the mezcal tasting. We tasted 7 different mezcals (some more than once) and a handful of cremas as well. Let's just say that we got our moneys worth during the tasting. 10/10 will recommend. Salud.

      Margarita was a super fun, very knowledgable guide! She explained both hierva de agua and the process of distilling mezcal in great detail, plus she could answer so many additional questions. The tour was a ton of fun!

      A great way to see Hierve de Agua! We first stopped at a bakery to try local bread and then drove to the park. You get 3 hours to hike, swim, and eat, which is enough time if you time it right. We liked the free structure, rather than having guided time. However, you have to keep track of time to get back to the meeting point to leave. There are changing rooms and showers and a variety of food stands selling traditional dishes. Afterward we went and learned about mezcal and tasted some varieties. Our group was very lively and fun and the ride back was a mini party! Overall a very fun and solid experience, with fun guides and an easy itinerary.

      This tour is great! You get about 3 hours at Hierve el Agua, which is just the right amount of time, and then you get to taste about 10 different Mezcals at the distillery. Our guide Margarita was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny! Highly recommend.
