Highly recommend this tour and the company Nomad Tours we had a great trip.We were picked up in a Tesla not what we expected by Rachel our tour guide. This was because we were the only guests on the tour today. I was impressed that the company honoured our booking even though there was only the two of us going. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide more like a friend than a guide which made the afternoon very enjoyable. The scenery was amazing and the track was not difficult. On the way back Rachel received a call from the company to assist another tour group as one of their guests was ill and needed extra help transporting the remaining guests back. This meant we returned in the company bus not the Tesla but it was fine. I was impressed with the professionalism and care the company provided. Well done

NZ Long walks
diwanji, Dec 2024
The guide was excellent and helpful, the route and location was very nice, however this is an activity that visitors who do rent a vehicle, like we did, should be able to make it on their own, in our opinion.
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Thank you for the great review and for sharing your thoughts! We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed the guide, the route, and the location. We understand your point about the flexibility of renting a vehicle, and we always strive to offer a tour experience that adds value for guests who want something a bit different from self-guided exploration. Your feedback is really helpful, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for another adventure!

Scenic drive to the track head. It’s so wonderful to hike in the beautiful national park. Appreciate the small group offered Nomad Safari. We only wish we booked the whole day one to get more exercise.
Response from Host, Mar 2024

Nice guide but not much to see
Cicely_Z, Feb 2024
Our guide was very nice, who was waiting at our hotel door before the scheduled time. He was very nice to explain to us about the various plants in the forest. But there was not much to see during the 2 hour walk in the forest, which was a bit disappointed.
Response from Host, Mar 2024
Hello, we thank you for the feedback as it helps us improve our services. We’re proud of the walks we do as theirs lots of ecology and nature to see, and our guides regularly point this out. Plus, the views are fantastic too. We will be reviewing this trip and how it’s conducted to ensure that our guides are well versed in all the sights and stories along the way.

Dan, our guide was incredible, so passionate and excited to show us around and for us to get the most out of the experience. We had the best fun, Dan went overtime just for us and we even jumped in the water at the end to top it off!
