A different view of Venice

I spent last September on a two week art tour in Venice, and on this trip did a lot of art Biannale things, so my Donna Leon walking tour with Valerio showed me a different side of Venice. It’s been a while since I’ve read the books, and if you are a huge fan with places in them you’d like to see, mention those specifically. I just enjoyed various scenes from various books and Valerio’s enthusiasm.

Valerio hat wirklich eine super Führung zu den Drehorten und Schauplätzen gemacht. Dazwischen hat er uns Interessantes über die Geschichte von Venedig erzählt. Die Questura war leider schon etwas sehr heruntergekommen und nicht wieder zu erkennen. Wir haben von ihm auch Links für Lokal, Sehenswürdigkeiten in Venedig abseits von Massentourismus bekommen und auch einen Link, wo sich die Dachterasse von der Wohnung der Familie Brunetti befindet, bekommen. 2 Stunden sind wirklich interessant gewesen und sehr schnell vergangen.
Führung abseits der Touristenpfade zu Drehorten der Serie.

Der Guide hat uns zahlreiche Drehorte gezeigt und mit vielen Geschichten untermalt. Wir blieben großteils außerhalb der Touristenpfade und erhielten als Draufgabe viele Empfehlung zu Lokalen und anderen großartigen (z.T. weniger bekannten) Sehenswürdigkeiten. Leider sind einige Lokationen (wie die Questura) inzwischen recht heruntergekommen, könnten in diesem Zustand nicht verwendet werden.

Die Führerin war Klasse. Sehr viele Informationen auf der Tour erhalten. Orte wurden mit Filmen und Szenen verknüpft. Einige Informationen von Donna Leon erhalten. Auf der Führung schafft man Kilometer.

Exzellente Führung. Sehr informativ und unterhaltsam. Valerio hat unsere kleine Gruppe bestens unterhalten und uns viele Brunetti Drehorte gezeigt. Valerio war ein ausgesprochen sympathischer Guide, der zudem noch sie deutsche Sprache sehr gut beherrschte. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen !

Die Tour war abseits der bekannten Plätze und gerade deswegen sehr interessant. Der Tourguide war sehr freundlich und hat alle Fragen ausführlich beantwortet. Es ist eine spannende und originelle Idee, Fiktion und Besichtigung miteinander zu verbinden.
Ein sehr schöner und interessanter Ausflug, abseits der üblichen Touristen-Hotspots.

Wir haben einiges Neues über Donna Leon erfahren und etliche der Schauplätze der Brunetti-Filme gesehen. Das Highlight war natürlich die "Questura" (also der Aussendrehort mit den bekannten Säulen, der Brücke und der Anlegestelle). Am Schluss saßen wir noch gemütlich mit unserem Tourguide Valerio in einer kleinen Kneipe in einer der engen Gassen bei einem Glas "Spritz" zusammen.

Sehr empfehlenswerte Tour für alle Brunetti-Fans! Unser Tourguide Valerio hat sich aber nicht auf Donna Leon beschränkt, sondern noch sehr viel mehr über die Stadt erzählen können, und das stets gut gelaunt und in sehr gutem Deutsch. Wenn wir wiederkommen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder eine Tour mit Valerio buchen!
