Our guide (sorry, I don’t know her name) was amazing! The pace of the tour was perfect., she shared lots of interesting history and she also made recommendations of places to shop and gelato to eat. Seeing the statue of David was definitely a highlight. Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was excellent. Her English was very clear and she also gave great suggestions the timing of the tour was perfect. We had plenty of time to take pictures. I would recommend.

It does not explain that...
Kelli_E, Nov 2025
It does not explain that if your tour falls on a Sunday and is before 1 pm, you will not be entering Domo and there is no access to the climb. This was the sole reason I booked this particular tour, I have experienced Domo with my husband years ago and was excited to see it through the eyes of my now older children. Complete disappointment to be told after the tour had started and there was no way to cancel. Left the tour early after 1 hour.

Elena - our guide - was absolutely phenomenal. She gave so much history and told it in a way that made you feel like you were re-living a story in history - she made this whole experience totally worth it!!!!
Not worth the money!
Debra_R, Nov 2025
Skipping the line for David and the info given was great by our tour guide who was very enthsiastic. However, I was under the impression, for this price, a climb to the stop of the Duomo was included. Never offered or explained .. and then we were out! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Great guide
James_P, Nov 2025

Informative and spectacular

Our tour guide Nebo was fantastic, so full of details . We got a wonderful overview of the town and lots of options of other items to do. Highly recommend it if you can get Nebo
Perfect First Day tour
JULIE_T, Nov 2025
Our guide Guilia provided wondeful details about the life and character of Michelangelo and the importance of his sculptures. The academia was the best part of the tour. The Duomo felt a little bit rushed, but it could be because we started late because we’re waiting for two people to join the tour. Please be considerate of other tour guests and arrive on time. Guilia patiently answered all questions and sparked good conversations about all aspects of Florentine living. This is a great tour for the beginning of your stay in Florence to get a good overview of the historic part of the city.
Perfect tour of Florence
Anita_C, Nov 2025
The tour was great. We got plenty of time in the museum and we saw all of the main sights in Florence. We learned so much about the history of Florence and the artists who lived here. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable.
Absolutely worth it!
Lindsay_C, Nov 2025
Greta was a fantastic tour guide! This tour is so worth it and I highly recommend doing it! Skipping all the lines is fantastic by itself but the addition of having such a knowledgeable guide made our tour so perfect!
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear that Greta made your experience even more memorable. Skipping the lines is definitely a game-changer, and we're glad you enjoyed the added value of having such a knowledgeable guide. Your recommendation means a lot—thank you! The Perfect Way to begin your visit to Florence!
Linda_P, Nov 2025
Our guide, Elena, was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable and purchasing a skip the line small group tour couldn't have been a better way to begin our visit to Florence!! We loves Elena! Such a great guide!
Great way to see the highlights of Florence
Gary_C, Nov 2025
What a beautiful city! Every where you look, there are beautiful sites to see. The only downside was the crowds. Apparently, everyone has the same idea about visiting this wonderful city with its breathtaking art and fantastic food. This tour is a great introduction to the highlights of the city and allows you to bypass the lines to see the statue of David and the inside of the city’s awesome cathedral. Don’t miss it.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the beauty and highlights of the city, despite the crowds. It’s great that the tour helped you skip the lines and made it easier to experience some of the best sites, like the statue of David and the cathedral. We’re so happy you had a great introduction to this stunning city—hope you’ll come back for more soon! Kind Regards Walks and Devour Feedback Team
Excellent tour
Amy_W, Nov 2025
We had been in Florence for a couple of days but wanted to learn more about the city so we took this tour and glad we did! Eleanor was our tour guide and she was BEYOND EXCELLENT! She was very knowledgeable, personable and engaging with us. We could have done the museum and Duomo tour on our own but would have never learned as much as we learned from her. She also took us on a tour of the highlights of the city and ended the tour down by the River. Overall a 10/10 and would highly recommend Eleanor.

This was a good tour with a lot of historical information. Our tour guide was excellent. It was a little slower paced than we would have liked, but we would still recommend!
Best way to see the major sites in Florence
Nicole_V, Oct 2025
The best way to see all the major sites in Florence. We had a lovely tour guide who was very knowledgeable about both art and history. It is a long walking tour, so if you can’t walk long distances this is not for you. Wear comfortable shoes!
What a Magnificent Beginning to our Vacation!
Darlene_H, Oct 2025
Sabrina was the best! Meeting up was a bit tricky, as we did not understand how to find the #5. Google Maps sent us to the Vatican back entrance. The Vatican sent us back to the main entrance. In between we found Sabrina - who was delightful, knowledgeable and fun! Tour is longer than listed. We thought we would be done by 9:30, but she told us she couldn't even do the headphones in the Basilica until 9:30, so we had to cut it short. We did have to wait in the security line, but after that we whizzed right to where she wanted to go. The climb up the dome and all the visuals were wonderful. Breakfast was nice, but we ate inside a little coffee shop. It was a hot drink and a pastry. Sabrina was kind and helpful in getting us through, giving us an overview of the Basilica from outside, sending us in and then getting us off to the Vatican. And seeing everything at that hour in the morning - PERFECT! No crowds as we wandered from place to place.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your tour with Sabrina— she truly is a wonderful guide who loves sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm. We’re sorry to hear there was some confusion finding the meeting point and will review the directions to make them clearer for future guests. It’s great to know you still had such a memorable experience exploring the Basilica and Vatican in the calm of the early morning. We really appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again! Great intro to some of Florence's iconic sites!
Maya_F, Oct 2025
Valentina was excellent - a great balance of fun and informative. It was our first time in Florence (9 adults, 2 children) and this was a good introduction to some of the cities iconic sights. Paying to skip the line is totally worth it. We did not visit Ponte Vecchio as described (went ourselves afterwards) and we had a last minute issue with Viator (since resolved), that's why I'm deducting one star.
Prepare to walk and stand a lot.
danell_b, Oct 2025
Too much standing and too much talking but grateful for the info. Duomo was closed for mass. Too much talking.

Sandra_W, Oct 2025
Angelo was the best tour guide we have ever had! His information was amazing and he made everything fun! He was sensitive to the older guests in the group. We would love to tour with him again!
