Amazing Experience!

This tour was a great experience! Our guide, Santiago, was AMAZING and very knowledgeable. We did not feel rushed at all and learnt a lot throughout the day. Shout out to our fantastic driver, Alvaro and his incredible playlist. Had a great time, would definitely recommend!

Santiago was our guide for Hierve el agua and mezcal tasting. He was very welcoming and knowledgeable to our group. If you plan on doing the hike at the Hierve el agua, bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable shoes. The path is not rugged, but it is steep with a lot of steps. Also bring a swimsuit.

Our tour guide was Santiago and he was fantastic. He obviously has a passion for leading tours of Oaxaca and is very knowledgeable about the region's history. We visited hierve al agua, a family textile workshop, the Mitla archeological site, a bakery, a traditional Oaxacan buffet-style restaurant, and a mezcal distillery. I would highly recommend this tour, and Santiago as a guide, to anyone who wants to see what Oaxaca has to offer.

Book this tour, I promise you will enjoy yourself and have a different appreciation for Oaxaca and its surrounding towns. First Santiago (guide) and Jerson (driver) were beyond professional, knowledgeable and friendly. This ended up being a personal tour, just 2 of us. Which I loved. Santiago made us feel like we were out on a day with a friend. The ride to all locations was comfortable, we got to learn about the areas we passed up along the way. The Tule tree was a pleasant sight in a small town with local shops, the textile workshop was thorough and informative. There are items for purchase. The Hierva el Agua was a sight to see. My partner and I went over the designated time frame, however Santiago and Jerson were patient. Bring extra clothes! Mitla was a cute place to visit and walk around, it’s filled with local shops and food stands. It rain on us for the Mezcal tour, nonetheless Santiago gave us a detail walk through the process of Mezcal making. The Mezcal tasting was fun, nothing but laughter and good Mezcal. Santiago has an amazing personality, great conversation. I would go on a tour again with him. “I’m on your time, this is your tour enjoy as much as you want” in Santiago’s words.

Worth an outing to see the countryside .

Visit to Mexcal place. Waterfall was disappointing as there was shortage of water. Adria the guide was very knowledgeable and a fun guide. Enjoyed his stories and the history of the region. If I visit again would request Adril as the guide.

Must do when in Oaxaca!

Highly recommend this tour. Our guide and driver were so nice and it was great to have someone who could tell us about the places we passed on the drive. We had an explanation and demonstration of the rug making process which was really interesting, the weaver was very welcoming, he clearly loves his craft and his rugs are amazing. Hierve el Agua is beautiful and it was nice to have time for a swim. At the mezcal factory we had an explanation of the process and tried different kinds of mezcals, again the girl who showed us around was really friendly and welcoming. The Thule tree was great to see, there were lots of locals there too and it’s next to a nice church. A real highlight of our trip. Everyone we met from Oaxacool was great, a real highlight of our trip. Thanks guys!
