Alejandro was absolutely amazing! He was a great tour guide and was so fun to be around. He made the experience even better! The train and view was just absolutely amazing. I’m going to definitely book another excursion and go with my husband!

DeeDee was wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and kept the group going to limit time waste. The trip itself is a 10/10 and highly recommend for anyone to do it if they have the time and funds.
Definitely worth the cost, which is reasonable for the transportation, scenic views, and amount of time we spent traveling and having a guide. Would have enjoyed more time in St. Moritz to shop and explore but it is a beautiful place to take in the views and experience something different. If you plan to leave from Milan to St. Moritz, be sure to have CHF and not Euros or a credit card to use to purchase items.
Again, highly recommend anyone to take the time to do this trip. The Bernina Express is totally worthwhile. Make sure to get a window seat, so plan to meet up at the train a little early to get prime seating.

It was very informative and the views were breathtaking. Only thing is the windows were left a little bit too long… we got a bit too cold. But otherwise good trip

Visiting St Moritz and taking the train were amazing experiences. However a lot of the tour time is spent on the bus traveling up and down, and visiting St Moritz during off peak season means it’s literally a dead town.

Thank you for your feedback — we're glad you enjoyed the train ride and the beauty of St. Moritz!
We’d just like to clarify that the travel times are clearly indicated in the tour description, as the Bernina itinerary naturally involves several hours by bus due to the distance covered.
As for St. Moritz, it’s true that during the *off-season* the town is quieter, but unfortunately *seasonality is not something we can control*. Many travelers actually prefer this time of year for a more peaceful, crowd-free experience.
We always aim to provide full transparency so guests can make informed decisions.

Mixed feelings, the excursion is more of a packed shuttle service. Didn't learn much from the tour guide. Tour bus was completely packed and one train cargo was completely packed. If you dont like large groups 50+ then this excursion may not be for you. Train ride was cold, everyone left there windows down, also when boarding people shoved to get on the train wanting window seats that prevented me from seating next to my husband. Got back at 8pm not 7pm. You can ride the train from the Italy side in a closed window train with bigger seats then ride it back as well.

We would like to clarify a few important points. The type of train used for this tour is clearly specified in the activity description: we use the panoramic carriage with openable windows to give guests the opportunity to take photos without glare or reflection—something many travelers deeply appreciate.
Regarding the return time, the bus arrived approximately 20 minutes later than expected due to normal traffic conditions. This is a rare but understandable delay when traveling by road, and we always do our best to keep within the schedule.
As for the number of participants, the group size is clearly stated before booking. If you already knew that the train ride from Tirano could be taken independently from Milan, it’s unclear why you chose to join a guided tour instead.
We’re always open to feedback that helps improve our service, but it's also important to base reviews on accurate and fair expectations.

Given the season we travelled, I was uncertain whether visiting the alps would be disappointing however it greatly exceeded my expectations. It is a big day but organised in a way that was clear, helpful and well communicated. Our guide was knowledgeable And the balance between group time and free time suited us. The train trip, while only part of the experience was long enough (over 2 hours) and the bus ride to St Moritz was a feature of the trip rather also with gorgeous views, skilled driving and snow capped mountains in the distance.

Fine trip if you want a little taste of Switzerland. Long day. Had already done Lake como and Switzerland. This was very similar . Very knowledgeable guide, Alendro
Jessica_B, Oct 2025
It is a long day, but worth it to see the alps and experience St. Moritz. It would have been nice to stop a bit to see Lake Como but there is another tour for that.
Amy_P, Oct 2025
A long but totally fantastic day. Knowledgeable guide (Alejandro) who gave great instructions and tidbits and a fabulous driver who knew what he was doing on mountain roads and in the city.
Maricsabel_C, Oct 2025
There is almost no time in St Moritz. The day is extremely long, as expected however we had almost no time to explore the town and many shops were closed for their lunch breaks while there

Wonderful day trip to the Alps! Our tour guide was awesome and the train trip was very enjoyable with amazing views!
