I booked the complete car + guide + entry + lunch for just myself. A private tour is a far superior and efficient means of exploring the many tombs and temples of the West Bank. My driver Ramses was safe, stayed with the car watching my belongings watched my belongings, and pulled the car up as we left each site. My tour guide Emad was pleasant, flexible, and knowledgeable about the temples and tombs that we visited. I highly recommend both of them and this tour.

The experience was truly outstanding! The guide and the driver were both friendly and highly professional. Our guide, Emad, was exceptionally knowledgeable, warm, and approachable. He offered detailed explanations of each site and was great at suggesting local tips to enhance our visit to the tourist spots and the city overall. The whole tour was enjoyable, with the authentic and delicious lunch being a real highlight. We would definitely hop on another tour with Emad and his team without hesitation!

Excellent and informative day out with our knowledgeable guide Sayed - much better experience than if we'd tried to see the sights ourselves. Lunch was great as well. Would advise booking the earlier start times though as it does get hot in the tombs and more busy/crowded.

Amazing private tour of Luxor’s West Bank

We had a very knowledgeable private guide for ourselves and he customized the whole experience for our needs and wants. We saw all the landmarks and had an amazing morning touring Luxor’s West Bank. The only bad thing to highlight is that our guide repeated himself sometimes and that we did a stop at a local craftsmanship workshop, which we didn’t ask to. Lastly, make sure to visit the Ramses III temple, it is worth the detour !

Please do not do this tour!

This man was on his phone the entire time. He made sexual innuendos to me as a solo female traveller. Forced me to go to stores that I said I did NOT want to go to, even when I was feeling faint and almost passing out after spending a day in the sun! He still made me go to a gold store after I said “NO!” because “he already told his friend I’d be there”. It was very intimidating! In the store he told me I’d have to sit and wait for him if I didn’t want to buy anything… he sat with 4-5 other men and smoked cigarettes and didn’t even consider me. He stopped constantly to smoke. He took me to the provided lunch but he and the driver left me in a restaurant and went somewhere. Do NOT recommend!

Really nice from pick up to visiting all the sites we wanted in the West Bank. We had a 4 year old so half way through he got a bit tired and the guide and driver let us mix it up with different activities and stopping at a shop for refreshment and not overpaying at the historical sites. Overall great driver and one of the best tour guides we had in Egypt no complaints from us.

This was a very comprehensive tour of the main attractions of the West bank. Hany Yessen, our guide was very knowledgeable and gave clear explanations about each place. He advised us about the tombs to visit. Driver Mustafa was a safe driver. We were taken on a short side trip to an alabaster factory. We felt welcome there and enjoyed that visit, though we had some initial trepidation. There was no pressure to buy and we did not buy anything. We would recommend this tour.

This was one of the best tours I’ve done in Egypt. Luxor is massive and having the opportunity to devote an entire day to just one side is a really wise choice, giving you the appropriate time to go deep on the multitude of sites to be found in west Luxor. Sayed was an outstanding tour guide who kept us engaged and entertained from start to finish, even informing us of details which other guides had missed - he is top of his game. His detailed, passionate, and fun approach helped make this full day a breeze. I would unreservedly recommend doing a tour of Luxor (or anywhere else in Egypt for that matter) with Sayed as your guide backed up by George as your patient and safe driver. It was fun, the tour guide was good I just didn’t like stopping on a shop where it seems like it’s “mandatory” to buy something. I know it’s not but that’s just what it feels like, there was an additional $30 usd dinner which consisted of the guide taking you to banana island on a boat which is a 10 min ride and they take you on a little tour to see it but in my opinion it was not worth it. The dinner didnnot included drinks which surprised me because $30 for a dinner is a lot. But overall the guide was a good guy who knew a lot about the history of the temples and tombs.

We had a wonderful day with our driver Ramesses. We were able to visit the places we wanted to visit at the west side valley. The driving was smooth and very time efficient. Although we only booked for the driver option, he shared us some interesting facts and knowledge around the west valleys while driving. He was honest and kind from start to finish.

Amazing West Bank Tour in Luxor

We had a fantastic experience on this tour! We were picked up promptly and able to see 7 key sites in one day. Our guide, Hassan, was incredibly knowledgeable but still gave us ample time to explore ourselves and take photos. A highlight of the tour was Habu Temple, which not all tours include. Hassan was able to work the schedule so we could avoid most of the crowds, and we entered sites immediately since everything was pre-arranged. The lunch was also fantastic and gave us a huge amount of Egyptian food to try. I highly recommend this tour (we went 8am-3pm) to cover the West Bank of Luxor in a stress-free and enjoyable day!

I strongly recommend this tour that covers many different sites. We especially appreciated Deir el-Medina and Habu Temple, way less crowded and with many details we'll preserved. The guide Beshoy was very talkative and full of information about everything.

We had an absolutely incredible day with Besho on the West Bank. I cannot say enough amazing things about this tour!! From start to finish, Besho made sure we were taken care of, and also gave us such an impressive amount of information - I truly don’t know how he can remember all of it! He tells stories about the history of ancient Egypt in a way that is both fun and engaging. he was simply an absolute pleasure to spend the whole day with, and we feel like we made a friend for life. Seeing the valley of the kings and queens was truly a life changing experience, and the way that Besho tells the stories of each of them with such passion and excitement made it all that more special. This was by far one of the best days of our Egypt vacation.
