Itinerary

Make your way to the Auckland Ferry Terminal for the ferry ride to Waiheke Island. Board a minivan for the transfer to the zipline center, where your small group receives a safety briefing from an experienced guide who safely attaches your harness to a cable at the treetops platform and sets you off on your first of three flights.

Zipline over a verdant valley and vineyards as you take in the surrounding beauty of Waiheke Island from above. Upon landing, follow an easy path on foot through the forest to the visitor center.

Receive a local olive oil gift or experience a tasting at Allpress Olive Groves, before satisfying your appetite with a light lunch and wine tasting at one of Waiheke’s premium wineries: Batch Winery. Travel there by air-conditioned coach and join a larger group for your afternoon tour.

Next up is Cable Bay Vineyard for a sampling of wine. Your tour concludes at Mudbrick Vineyard to sip fine wines while enjoying views over the lush gardens and Hauraki Gulf.

Your driver takes you to the Waiheke Island Ferry Terminal for a late-afternoon ferry back to Auckland.

All parts of this trip were incredible. The zipline adventure was very well organized as you descend down three different lines. They have an incredible view from the top, and once at the bottom in the forest, our guide was excellent at explaining the nature, trees, and wildlife. Furthermore, the wine tour was equally as excellent. We explored four different wineries, all of which had tastings and food prepared. We ended at Mudbrick winery, which on a clear day has one of the most incredible views on the entire Waiheke island.

Such a worthwhile experience! Me and my brother had the best time! The staff was incredible and they really care about the environment. My advice is to redeem your ferry tickets the day before in order to have an easy morning if possible. We did that and the day couldn't have gone better. 100/10

What an incredible day! Started with Ziplining. Guides were fun and informative, while keeping safety in mind. Food was substantial at lunch and wine tasting was diverse and fun at each location.

The ziplining was fun with picturesque views of the island and sea coast. Very professionally managed and eco-centric. A great spot for beginners too. The first tasting stop had the best wines and a nice lunch but each stop had unique charms and tastes. A lovely way to spend the day. Highly recommend having the charter driver drop you at the end of the tour in the cute little town or the beguiling beach and use your ferry pass to return later in the evening. You'll feel brilliant for giving Waiheke a longer visit!

We really enjoyed the zip lining, lunch and wine tastings. It is a beautiful island with much to do. Tim and his helper were awesome in hooking us up for zip lining 😀. Highly recommend. Very impressed with bus driving and parking skills of our woman bus driver! She was awesome and very informative!

Ziplining and wine tour...

The tour guides were great. They made sure you were safe and also had a great time. They helped you take pictures/videos of yourself as well as others. I would recommend them and do it again. The only bad thing I would say is the wine tour was just too long. 3 to 4 vineyards would have been good. 5 was too long.

Three awesome ziplines. Each one progresses in the adrenaline rush. Well run by Ecozip, they care about your safety. Wonderful walk back through the forest you learn quite a bit about the island. After getting your adrenaline rush you do a relaxing and enlightening tour of 3 wineries and one olive oil plant. Our favorite winery was Casita Miro, delightful set up Tapas style with 4 wines and food to enhance the experience. At Stonyridge you experience French style with a light lunch of quiche, salad, bread , grapes and cheeses. At Mudbrick you experience incredible views with a wonderful garden. All total you taste 10 different wines. At Rangihoua Estate you experience the whole olive oil production and get to sample 4 different olive oils, Great learning experience at each winery and at the olive oil production. Learned different parts of the business, really enjoyed Orlando at Miro and the passion he displayed. Our bus driver Horst was fun. Great day overall with the ferry rides and experiencing the island. Well worth it.

This is a great "all day" activity on Waiheke island. Its really a combined event from two different tour companies. The Zip line was by far worth the trip! I've been Zip lining in several other places, but this was the most spectacular views i have ever encountered. Very professional staff. A must do if you like this kinda thing. The Winery tour was really good. You end up at very small "mom and pop" wineries that cater to the local tourism. This part was a "big bus" tour, which is generally not my thing...

Fantastic day beautifully planned out. Tour operators are fully knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Views are unparalleled. Ziplining experience with a hike back through the forest was phenomenal. Wine tasting and olive oil tasting events were educational and so much fun. This booking was the highlight of our stay in NZ!!

Amazing experience, I was only in Auckland for a short period of time and I am so glad that I was able to do this tour. The food was great and the people were really nice. I definitely recommend doing this tour.

The tour was amazing. Best gift for Mother's Day. Peter our guide deserves a special shout out. He was a star and a genuine wine enthusiast. The zipline was one of a kind experience too. I was amazed the hospitality of the people in Waiheke. You people are awesome! The only downside of this trip has to be a racist woman at the waiheke ferry terminal who was checking our tickets. She was rude and must watch her filthy mouth. I will ensure I write a complaint letter about her to fullers ferry. Thank you waiheke zipline for making our day so memorable.

I loved this adult-oriented tour of the island! It started in the morning with a ferry ride from Auckland to Waiheke. We were met at the ferry terminal by a very friendly tour driver who took us to our zip line tour. We had never done this before, and it was so much fun. The guides were so were so helpful in getting us comfortable with the equipment and process, there was a lovely nature hike after, and the tour bus driver took us on a extra long scenic drive back to the ferry terminal, since we were running a bit ahead of schedule. The second part of the tour was a larger group on a big tour bus for a tour of 3 wineries and one olive oil tasting. The wineries were somewhat crowded at times. The wineries we visited had some very good wines and others that were just okay. The light lunch served at the first winery that was included with tour was pretty tasty (quiche, salad, cheese and crackers).

Our guides were very friendly! We had a great time and the views were simply breathtaking. We had been ziplining several times before in Oahu, Maui, and the Dominican Republic, but this was by far the best. The facilities were start of the art, and the Waiheke Island views, foliage, and bush walk were remarkable. The wine tours were very entertaining. Stunning views, good wine, and a delicious lunch consisting of quiche, cheese, crackers, and salad.

This was an amazing experience! The crew that assisted with the ziplining seemed to really care about the overall experience of the zippers. There concern for safety was paramount and they gave detailed instructions prior to and during the experience. They checked and re-checked the harness each person wore. The crew had a great sense of humor, and it was apparent they were all good friends. They worked very well as a team. My only somewhat negative comment regarded an olive oil tasting that was included in the package. The tasting should not have been included in this package and I feel it was wasted time. Take out the olive oil tasting and you have a five star rating.

We really enjoyed this day trip . Easy ferry trip to waiheke from ferry terminal....just don't let the ferry ticket operator convince you to take a later ferry...you'll miss the zip lining if you do! Comfortable minibus transfer to the zipline base.We had zip lined before but we really enjoyed the 3 different lines offered. Very professional and fun experience. amazing views. We then joined a bigger coach tour for our winery visits....again we enjoyed the different wines food and scenery on offer. Well worth doing........
