When to visit

Visit Dushanbe in spring and fall for the most temperate weather. Winter is bitterly cold and often snowy, while summer is hot. April, May, and June are mild and good for walking around the city and getting out into the nearby nature. September and October are also moderate weather-wise, plus host Independence Day, the Apple Festival, and the not-to-be-missed Honey and Melon Festival.
