The bus driver wasn’t too informative and we only got out of the bus once for a quick stop to take pictures. Most of the time he was quiet. And lastly, this tour is advertised as a 2 hour tour, however he dropped us off early making the tour 1.5 hours! We weren’t impressed!

We were timely met as schedule. Drive provided great historical & present information on Tauranga. Had to request a comfort stop, which was not on the schedule. 65% of the group rushed to the facility when the driver stopped.

It's a small area but the driver did his best to show us an interesting tour. Nice guy. What kept this from 5 stars is that the driver kept the windshield shades so low that pretty much nothing could be seen out of the front of the bus, and we had front seats. The "in" part of town is incredibly active and beautiful.

Thanks Fiona for the review. Just wanted to clarify about the bus size—it's mentioned in the booking section; Vehicle sizes can vary on busy days, ranging from 18-40 seats. We use 2 bigger buses during peak times to handle the demand, and then smaller ones (2) for the rest of the time. Hope this didn't take away from what should have been a great short tour.

This was a very nice excursion. We saw the city and then drove out to see a lot of the countryside. Amazing views! It was a two hour tour, but it needed to have a bathroom break.

Hi Carol, thanks for the review! Glad you enjoyed the short tour. Of course, we do stop for toilets if needed, but we start near public facilities and encourage guests to use them before we depart. Scheduling additional stops would affect the 2-hour timeframe and impact afternoon departures.

Good tour Jude was very friendly and knowledgeable. Really pleased that she told people not to talk during commentary as soon as we got on the bus and enforced it. Only criticism is that because of older demographic a toilet stop would be great and should be considered.

We were on a celebrity cruise this 2hr tour just helped get a brief overview. Jude our driver was really helpful and enthusiastic. We had plenty of time before our tour at midday to walk around and have a coffee before getting back to the ship.
