If you are passing through and need advice on a good meeting location, consider the Hampton Hotel. Please park closest to the main road. The parking lot you'll use is the Pier 39 parking, and we will conclude our tour there. If you are on a sea cruise, please head to the Cannery Pier Hotel. We will be parked just off the port property, and you will see our Onward Adventures bus! We can pick you up anywhere in the city of Astoria, as long as it is not on private property. If it is, we will get as close as possible.

Great itinerary. Small group. Comfortable bus. Convenient parking in town to meet up with the tour group, Well planned tour. Katie& Will were fantastic guides and know their Astoria history. Loved the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Covered a lot of ground- saw from the sea to the town! We had a little more time because it was just two of us on the tour. Katie was very knowledgeable about the area, was flexible to our interests, and had lots of little meaningful "additions" that were an excellent touch. I highly recommend this company!

We had an unusual experience because we had a brand new guide. She was very nice but had no knowledge of the area and was unable to answer most questions. Everyone was very nice and tried their best to accommodate but missed rhe mark. We were split into groups and I think the other group had a better more experienced guide..

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry the tour felt disorganized and that your guide was not able to provide the depth of knowledge we are known for. This was an unusual day with ship integration delays, which led to guests arriving at different times and, unfortunately, our groups being split up. That was not ideal and I take full responsibility.
Our new guide is still learning, and while she is kind and eager, it was not fair to place her in that position without stronger support. I sincerely apologize for the impact this had on your tour.
We are already making adjustments—tightening our scheduling, ensuring only trained guides lead in Astoria, and keeping groups together whenever possible—to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
I truly appreciate your honesty and kindness in acknowledging that our team tried their best. My goal is always to create meaningful, well-organized experiences for every guest, and I regret that we missed the mark with your visit. It was extremely detailed and personalized itinerary. Our tour guide Bill (Onward Adventures) insured that we saw the important sites and also structured it to synced up with what the guests wish list, as well as a few extra things.

It is a personalized tour. Our group was small enough that we shared experiences we Al 3 had. Our guide was very personable and upbeat, full of local lore and showing us the city heights, historical buildings and eateries. We are returning for another tour and to expand our area of coverage

Fun, informative, comprehensive tour of Astoria and surrounding area! Highly recommend! We toured the column, famous movie sites, and even got to see some elk.
